The Y is my happy place. It has provided me with a safe, clean place to get exercise, physical therapy and personal training. The staff are lovely. The people who use the Y are my friends. When the Y shut down for 3 months because of Covid, I was so depressed. And got completely out of shape. As a woman in my 70's, I desperately need the Y to keep me healthy and happy.

I feel that my daughter has progressed so much with due to the socialization and compassion that her teachers show on a daily basis. I love getting art work and pictures capturing her day and seeing updates on their daily activities such as walks, playground and crafts. Overall, I could not feel more comfortable dropping my child off each day.
Front desk people are so kind. Swimming snd gymnastics . Teachers are great and encouraging.
Engagement and community
The Greater Beverly Y consistently offers excellent sports programs for families. We have been involved with the Kiwanis basketball league at the Y for the past 8 years or so, which teaches not only skills and drills, but important and age-appropriate lessons about teamwork and sportsmanship that are applicable all throughout life. Our kids took swimming lessons at the Y and have enjoyed other recreation programs as well. The staff is caring and committed to youth development in our community.

My son attends the after school program, and I love that he is given so much opportunity for fresh air, exercise, and healthy social development.
The coaches were great! So friendly and helpful, they made my son feel really comfortable and he had so much fun in this program!
This is a great program. The kids exercise their bodies and listening skills. My kids rave about this class and look forward to it each week. The instructors are so great and patient with the kids.
My son is into basketball now, and the YMCA programs it’s a great way to start and keep him motivated
