Honestly the Staff and Program are amazing! So many activities are provided and very accommodating! Sterling Woods Camp is by far the best camp around and I’m excited for next year! To be honest they are fantastic with my daughter, they all know her by heart and to me that’s really important, plus she has fun and never wants to leave!!

Getting the kids outside and in the woods! They are exposed to so many different activities - it’s awesome. Plus, daily swim is a fan favorite of my daughters. Staff is wonderful and so great with the kids.

This is the 4th year my kids have attending stearling woods for most of the summer. What an incredible program!!! We will be Nick again next year!

My son Julian has been coming here now for two years literally the best! he always raves about how much he loves going to camp, which is such a good feeling for a parent to hear! All the camp counselors were so informative about everything that was going on and they were so sweet every time I dropped him off or picked up, they always had a smile on their faces and an amazing attitude. I feel so grateful to have such an amazing program be available during the summertime.

The Sterling Woods Camp team has been so awesome this summer! Our kids have attended for more than half of the summer and had so much fun. They can't wait to come back next summer! One of our children requires extra support and the team was great about planning ahead and checking in to help them have a great summer. Thank you!

Good parent communication, and consistent systems! I do wish the sports camp included a little bit more skills and drills instruction, but that's coming from me as a parent, not from my camper, who had a great experience! The counselors built great relationships with him over his multiple weeks of sports camp this summer.

Both my kids love Sterling Woods! They have lots of positive things to say about many of the staff members and they love spending so much outdoor time with friends, hiking, swimming, doing crafts.
As a parent, I could not want more for my kids in the summer than a safe place to go where they are moving their bodies, getting fresh air and spending time with other kids. The talent show is a highlight for both the kids and parents! My kids loved practicing their routines and performing for the audience. The best part is that the kids come home tired and dirty and with huge smiles every day.
I am also super impressed with how Kenzie remembers not only every kid’s name, but what their parents look like! Pickup of all those kids has the potential to be a total cluster, but she runs it with ease and patience and it goes quicker than you’d think possible. She even stopped to help me out when I picked up the kids early for after camp stuff a few times. Thank you! Jimmy is also incredibly kind and helpful, and always makes my kids feel seen. He put my daughter in a group with her friend when she was feeling nervous, and it made her summer so much happier! He stops to say hello, even when camp is not in session. We’re very happy to have Sterling Woods close to home and my kids are already eager to return next summer!

You came through and found a spot in the program for Max during on the final week of camp! We are so grateful for your help and assistance, it really showcases how involved you are in both the organization and to its members/participants in Camp Sterling experience.

I truly appreciate the dedication and attention the staff gives to my children, and I’m so glad the YMCA has so many diverse programs. I always suggest it to my friends and family, encouraging them to join and enroll their kids here.

I love the variety of activities and experiences offered to my children. I could peacefully work knowing my children were well supported and cared for.
