Wonderful facility! lots of good activities to do, including swimming, yoga.
The staff go over and beyond to be fun, caring and safe!
Swim on Thursdays is wonderful
Love the outdoor play area
It where I raised my kids and now, 20 years later, it's where I go to reconnect with all the moms that are in our next stage of life. Plus, they have improved the facilities to much, I love the new sauna and cold plunge. The pilates is great, pickleball is a great way to meet new people. The people at the front desk are always so friendly. It's a 10 out of 10. For a very reasonable price.
I like that my daughter has opportunities to participate in various programs and activities offered by the YMCA. She looks forward to attending the after school program at her school where she hangs out with some of her friends, gets a head start on any homework she may have as well as participate in fun activities.
The flexibility
The greater Beverly Y is very nice. There are some quirks however. The purpose of the online schedule is self-explanatory. Open gym on the basketball court is probably one of the more popular activities going into winter. Most recently, if it is scheduled to end at 645pm, why are staff coming into the gym telling people it is ending at 630 so that younger members can call for their rides? It’s a ridiculous explanation. I drive myself and my son, the schedule says it ends at 645, yet we are asked to leave earlier.
It is excellent!
To use the gym
The North shore YMCA network is great and so much fun to visit. The facilities are in great condition with tons of resources and equipment, wether it's a bigger or smaller location. Staff are all friendly and welcoming, and the classes are super fun!
Great facilities and people.
Great people there, no judgement . Tim Flaherty is doing a fantastic job!
Not usually crowded ( except for yoga), and great staff.
It's a great community. I work for the ymca and it's amazing non profit organization.
The Beverly Y offers so much I feel for a very reasonable price! The employees of the Y are so helpful & Pleasant as well
I have been a member for almost 20 years and attended class three times per week. The staff members over the years have been very qualified and professional.
Such a friendly and amazingly active place - so many programs led by very skillful people.
The early learning center is amazing! The teachers are absolutely incredible and they care so much!
Lots of great enrichment activities. Caring teachers and very responsive staff.
Great staff, facilities, and price
Staff are amazing. My son is well cared for and he loves being in aftercare :)
I can’t say enough about this facility, staff, members etc! Top notch!!
The Greater Beverly YMCA is such a great organization ( a very well oiled machine ) - everyone from the staff @ the front desk, the maintenance personnel everywhere in and outside taking great care of the facility, instructors in classes and the Early Learning Center, After school personnel in each elementary school through out our fine city. Management, volunteers, and many others I may have missed.
When you visit the main Y, take a moment to look for the boards showing the staff and the longevity that they've worked for the Greater Beverly YMCA - it's impressive to see the years each of them put into making others feel good physically, emotionally, spiritually 🤗❤️ Thank you all for helping me and many others to get and feel healthy
Just like family
Big fan of the sauna and cold plunge investment, + the community locker room (esp the storage in there)
The facilities, equipment, programs, classes, and other offerings are great!
Clean, welcoming, modern, wide array of equipment and activities, friendly staff, diverse membership
The new showers are great. But IMHO, the handicap space showers spray 10X as much water as the reguler showers. If the ymca is climate friendly, I would think they would want to save water. Other than that ,the water is hot and the plumbing works well.
Great environment. Great trainers! Great programs!

It's a GREAT facility staffed by Great people. I rely on the Y as a crucial component of my Triathlon training.
