Corepower Bucktown has been a "home away from home" for me. I have been going there since it first opened 13 years ago. The instructors like Monika M, Laura N were my introduction to how they made every class feel like it was full of family. Since then, I have discovered many more wonderful instructors like Michael K who have followed in that same tradition.
I am, however ,growing frustrated with the management of Core Power generally.
The cleanliness of the studios in Bucktown and Lakeview have suffered. And, the "homelike" feel of the studios in general seems to be being replaced by hard pressing sales people who are more interested in signing up "customers" than giving students an experience that will keep them returning.
My monthly membership has increased twice in the last year. The last increase was done without notice. When I reached out for an explanation, I was told that an email was sent. There was no email. Many others have complained about how the "feel " of Corepower is becoming less personal.
Please remember that people come to yoga to escape the foolishness of external forces. Corepower Yoga has always been a clean, safe sanctuary for that. Please do not make it the McDonalds of yoga.
Your instructors have spent time developing a community. Please remember that. Communication is key.

The staff is very friendly and professional. The studio is always clean. The teachers are knowledgeable. I always feel better after leaving. Keep up the good work.
I'm intimidated to go to workout classes and CorePower instructors make me feel welcome however I'm able to show up that day. I just moved to Chicago but went to CorePowers classes in San Francisco before, so it felt really nice to go to a familiar class in my new city where I don't yet know anybody.
I always feel cleansed and rejuvenated afterwards. It's an amazing workout.

The weights are a mess and way too crowded and it seems the stacking doesn’t allow for cleaning! Other studios like Roscoe seem to do a much better job. I wish this could be improved.
My instructor was great and had motivating music playing. The workout was really tough.
Mary is such a great, warm instructor. They are lucky to have her.

Core Power Old Town has amazing Yoga Sculpt teachers! The space is large, the music is energizing, and while you leave soaked with sweat and exhausted, none of your body parts are burned out...very balanced classes. My favorite location!

I’ve been going to Corepower for over 10 years and this instructor brought back the cold towel! All locations used to do this but it kind of fizzled out.
It is just a wonderful touch at the end of class. I love it and miss it! All studios should bring this back!

Raluca was absolutely amazing! I took yoga sculpt—I’m always a bit intimidated by weights, but from the beginning of the class it was well based and we had options to modify our weights. I actually decided to use heavier weights and it was challenging but the pace was great. The music was fun and the entire vibe was upbeat and positive.
Raluca was incredible—great cues and breath work. I will definitely take her again!
