Great, encouraging environment
Format of play, mentorship of older kids to younger kids, limit of parent involvement, timing, etc.
Great experience - love Franklin Bridge!
Casey and April Barnes are the reason my son will return to PGA Jr. They are top notch leaders, patient, encouraging, and give positive feedback to all players. I have been recommending them to other families interested in golf.
We loved the PGA Junior league. The coaches were excellent and my son had so much fun. He grew a lot during the season and he enjoyed playing on all the different courses throughout our city. We will definitely be back next year!
This was my youngest first year at the Hermitage squad PGA junior league and she absolutely loved it. The coaches and Director are outstanding and I highly recommend it to all of my friends. I have a 10 year old and this was her fourth year in a row doing a PGA junior league and she looks forward to it every summer and fall Again all the coaches and staff are excellent with the children and keep it fun and she is learning a lot .
We love the well organized introduction to golf and the scramble guidelines that give space for building confidence, supporting and affirming teammates, and learning the basics of golf. We also appreciate the free lesson with our golf pro. Thanks for those who make it possible for our son to learn and enjoy playing golf!
The friendships built - cheering each other on.
Well organized and helped my son get comfortable with competition golf. Plus he had a lot of fun!
Our son is thriving in this program. Growing, learning new skills and gaining confidence.
It was a good start for a program, but very inconsistent on who played who, tracking, etc.
Need a tad more instruction as well
Coach Rick obviously cares for the young golfers and helps them learn to play golf the right way.
Good coaching!
How great they make the experience for the players. Great instructors, the kids have fun and a lot of planning goes into each event. They mix in fun with learning. My son has been in the league for three years and I am always telling people how amazing this program is
We love PGA Jr League. It has been a great place for our son to learn and grow in a team-like setting. Even though golf is a solo sport, working alongside peers helps provide a morale boost and makes it more engaging than individual practice.
It was affordable and makes golf approachable for children.
Good communication, and provides a great alternative to the typical little league sports.
I like the atmosphere that is focused on training is easy for beginners but also encourages competition in a low key way through the two-man scrambles.
Wonderful league. Great coaches!
The coaches are great.
It is a fun and competitive atmosphere that encourages teamwork. My daughter had been participating for three seasons and has progressively become a better golfer. I would recommend that teams of three alternate every hole instead of every three holes. this keeps the kids more active and engaged in the match.
It's a fun environment for kids to learn to play golf. Low pressure and they make new friends.
It was laid back yet organized enough to give the kids a meaningful introduction to golf.
Awesome
Very fun experience for the children, they not only learn the game of golf but also learn about teamwork. The coaches are great and work with all the children no matter what their skill level.
The fun aspect of the kids getting to play with their friends.
Hermitage Golf Course did a wonderful job! Coach Cole and Staff were top notch!
I like how the coaches created an environment for growth and love of the game.
It’s a great way to get young kids involved in golf and play competitively.

My local course Clear Creek in Bristol, Va does an amazing job with their Jr PGA league program. I hear nothing but good things about that program. Probably one of the best in the area.
My kid did make it to the all stars tournament. I was a little taken back that we had to pay for the practice round at the course.
