Consumer Testimonials
I love that the kids get used to competing and honing their skills. It’s been tremendous for my daughter😁
What a great program
The experience of a team and competition.
My son loved how welcome the coaches made him .
He also liked that if he made a mistake it was bad as his partner could make up for him
Opportunity to play on lots of courses around town, 2x/week practices, camaraderie. Wish there was more one on one instruction.
great team learning experience for the young golfers
Opportunity to play golf with kids same age as a team
The format of the league. My kids love it.
My son’s coach is fantastic. He’s very patient and takes time with every kid on the team to improve technique and gives great advice on how to improve.
The coaching and leadership was good
Great program to get kids started
Great low pressure intro to golf for kids
The coaches and team structure is amazing to watch.
Playiing with peers, teamwork, social aspect.
Great way to play some competitive golf but in a more fun environment. My kid is a competitive hockey player and this allows him to still play golf in a competitive way but having some fun with his friends.
My boys have played in the PGA Jr. league for the past 6 years and play competitive golf as well. They love the PGA Jr. league because it’s a team sport when it’s usually only an individual sport.
It a great program and value. The tournaments are fun and having the kids compete against each other really improves their general skills but also their etiquette and teamwork.
Fantastic. Just wish kids didn't have to play on courses not designed for walking and then play in afternoon in AZ summer heat in the hundred and teens. Not a good way to keep kids excited about playing. Can't blame them.
We enjoy the team aspect of the match. If one player has a bad shot, the partner has a chance to still help while using best ball.
Coaches
We love what Coach Landyn Lewis and his team is doing with the program. He is growing the program and inspiring the kids to play the game.
I think getting kids out on the golf course as a part of a team helps build their confidence and allows them to reduce the stress they get when they play in a tournament. The format of the PGA Jr. league is great in that regard. I also like the commodore they build being a part of a team.
The team essence. Builds relationships with the kids.
Coach Doug Hammer, Coach Ryan Mahoney, Troon North and staff!
Nate Fordice and all of his assistants made the game of golf more enjoyable for both of my kids. They have also been more focused on learning the rules and etiquette of the game.
Good format
The coaching and tournaments were excellent!
Chance to play at different golf courses for the kids - fabulous experience.
It’s a team competition and the boys enjoy it because it’s a scramble. Coach Gerry at Red Rock Country Club is so dedicated and loves the children. He is very supportive and wants the children to succeed.
