Team at red rock is great!
It is affordable and provides kids team tournament experience
Brian & Doug @ Troon N. are a 10!
It was fun for my kid and the rules helped him enjoy it.
It was a nice relaxed program.
Our coach is very good with the children. Coach Caesar encourages the players but doesn’t push them. Having a daughter that has special needs, golf was encouraged as a good sport to play by her therapist. She is not afraid to participate. Jr League is more than golf form but many life skill lessons are incorporated. I appreciate each class. It is always a new type of learning.
They learn the rules of the course. There's a lot of learning and growing as a player. My son made great friends during the tournaments.
We enjoy the team format of best ball.
I like that my daughter is paired up with older golfers who get her excited about the game. I wish there were more practices so the kids could learn more before the matches.
Weekly scrambles
Amazing staff and Coach Dave was amazing .. please have a fall session … First name removed loved it
I like that it gives the kids an opportunity to play in tournaments and be competitive at a young age.
The learning experience, encouragement and gets the kids outside and away from the gaming screens.
Would suggest not to belittle a young player in front of his peers like happened on the Chipping field.
Thanks To Coach Melanie for all her hard work, Coach Henerson for making this all possible.
It gave my granddaughter a chance to learn and play with other kids her age and gender. Prior to that she could only play golf with me and took lessons from another adult.
The PGA Jr. League is an excellent program for kids. It provides a fun and supportive environment where young players can develop their golf skills while enjoying friendly competition with other teams. The coaches are outstanding—knowledgeable, encouraging, and truly dedicated to helping each child improve both their game and sportsmanship.
We love the great instruction our son receives and the friendly competition. He has improved so much each year!
I like pga Jr League because it teaches young players the general rules of golf and it also teaches kids to work as a team. I was frustrated at different points in the season for a couple different reasons. Some parents are aggressive and talked to my child, myself and others on my team inappropriately. It does not set a good example for young children learning the game. I know this happens in SNJGA and US Kids as well so it’s not just PGA Jr League. Different people had different interpreatation of the rules. Which there shouldn’t be. Lastly, I don’t like when there are three players on a team. That means my child is only playing 6 holes. That’s a waste of my time and my child’s time especially if they play the first 3 and the last 3 holes. Even with my frustrations I will probably still register my children to play but I do believe there should only be a maximum of two players per team. If there are an odd number than one of the older players should play as a solo. That player should then get two balls to play per hole.
One last thing I should mention is that on practice days there isn’t any instruction. It’s a kid on his own hitting balls at the range and putting alone. The directors and assistants should be giving young players advice. Not full coaching but so tips.
This has been a really great league to be a part of. Learning how to play on the golf course, keeping score, difference in clubs. We appreciate everyone and everything that has been provided!
We love everything about it! From the staff at Grayhawk Golf Club (Justin Knauber and Ricardo Fernandez especially!) to the opportunity as a whole, it's a one-of-a-kind program. In my opinion, it's what youth sports should be - supportive, inspiring, and skill-building in the best possible environment. The coaches here are extraordinary - they mentor with patience, encourage with positivity, and that vibe transcends to the athletes as well.
Every practice feels like a masterclass in sportsmanship and self-confidence - the opportunity for young players to learn in such a beautiful setting, surrounded by a welcoming community, is truly special. In addition to the education, it's quite simply the best value in golf - access to a course, instruction, at that frequency and rate. Golf doesn't have to be a staggering financial burden, and country club membership with Jr. PGA.
The comradery between the Coaches and players! Working on the course as an individual, but also as a team member.
Great introduction into the sport with professional teachers, great courses and organized tournaments.
Good opportunity for the kids to learn and experience tournament play.
Coach Dave Clark and the atmosphere at Lone Tree golf course has been excellent. It’s provided an environment for our daughter to learn and love golf. She looks forward to it every year and has met several great friends.
Coaches are great and really connect with the players on their level. Great team atmosphere and support from peers.
Great environment for all ages
The kids get to make new friends and make the golfing decisions on what ball to play
It’s a great program for young golfers to get experience playing different courses, and to learn golf etiquette.
The coaching are knowledgeable. They are patient with the kids. The practices and matches are only 9 holes and the rules are easy to follow. The facilities are well kept.
Great way for kids to learn golf affordable.

Great program our son loved it and will be back. Golf has become his new favorite sport over baseball and football.
