Consumer Testimonials
Our coach, Tilly Gretsch really cares about the kids. She coaches them in a thoughtful manner, and she brings out the best in them.
We LOVE pga jr. League.
After several years I have to say the sectional in Prescott AZ is not run very well. There is almost always rain there ( where none even if you moved it 20 minutes away). But the staff is very quick to say they just might call it (when it will be light until 7, they said they would call it at 4). We were told this year that it might just be a coin flip or 1 shot to determine the winner. These kids work too hard for that, especially when our team won by 46 strokes the first day. There should be a set way prior of how that will be determined. We were also sent the scoring how the first day would be scored by 1st 9 and 2nd nine taking the best three from each. They instead just took the best 3 18 hole scores. The people running it have to be aware of how things are supposed to be done. Also, for some reason there is absolutely nothing done to congratulate the winners. Not even a good job. They write the scores and walk away. We see the pictures from the sectionals all over the country where the kids get big trophies or at least a medal. Literally absolutely nothing here, not really nice to the kids.
Both my kids love playing with their friends in the scramble format. We have made Sections a family trip with friends now for many years.
Everything
The inclusivity of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe into the PGA is what I love about the league. If it was not for this league, my 9-year-old would have, probably, never received any formal training ini golf. Cesar Balganon has been a pillar to the golf community on our tribal reservation.
The program was a wonderful introduction to golf. The low cost which included instruction, range balls, golf course access and the two banquets was a great value and significantly increased my son’s exposure to and interest in golf. A truly OUTSTANDING experience. Thank you!
Thank you.
We loved Cody and the whole program. First name removed would love to do it again when it does not conflict with Football.
It’s awesome how the kids get to make shot choices by themselves and work with there team mate
teachers were amazing. weekly match play was super fun for kids.
A great way for kids to enjoy playing golf and meet other kids.
I really like that the kids get to play golf together in the best ball format. I’d love for there to be more instruction on the rules of golf while they’re playing or even during the clinics.
We enjoy our coach Cody at Camelback Golf club in Paradise Valley, AZ
My son has a great time, he is learning how to play golf at a high level and at a young age and has been playing for 4years. He is also learning the Etiquette of the game along with how to play the game.
Sportsmanship, helping his other teammates, and what it takes to win.
We keep coming back due to his coach, Kristin Sunderhaft. She is wonderful and best part of PGA JR. League.
I would like to see more matches on different courses during this season.
Great format!
Coach Ryan Petty and Pato are amazing! Really take the time to not only teach the proper swing, but also the mental fortitude to be a great golfer someday.
Our son and our family really like the PGA Junior League. It’s a great way for kids to get competition and also have a lot of fun with the team/scramble format. We highly recommend it for all kids that are interested in getting a little bit more competitive, while still having fun.
The progression the kids take to learn the game of golf.
We love our coaches! We love how it's a great balance between being competitive and friendly.
My son really enjoyed playing team golf. It was a good introduction to competitive golf.
Good intro into tournament golf in a low pressure situation
49ers county club
I appreciate the opportunity for the kids to have time on the course with kids their own age
I really like the coaches and the format of the grouping and team play
Great staff
We loved being a part of the JR PGA team this summer. The group practice and golf tournaments were such a great and valuable experience. The coaches were incredible too, especially Coach Scott Little! We will definitely be back for years to come (as long as First name removed stays interested in golf)
There mentor and kindness, my grandson thinks the world of he’s coaches. Also First name removed’s school grades has improved from an F, to A and B , due to Nate, Justin and Magan at Grayhawk Az
Great team skills were taught. Coach Schmid was such an amazing Coach not just for golf but for life too!!

The team comradery aspect, great change of pace to the usual solo game that is golf. Our coach Pam Bowers is absolutely the best here in Las Vegas.
