Being a part of a team with uniforms and competing against other teams made it more fun then just the normal weekly first tee experience.. which is also great. Being in the league improved my daughter's golf game and she made new friends and the parents were connecting too.. even parents from other teams. It was just the right amount of competition. We liked it was on Sunday afternoons which didn't conflict with things on our schedule. Mark and Mary are the best coaches and Charles too. It's the people that make it the best experience!

Golf is a bit lonely sports for kids. PGA Jr. League groups junior golfers together. It makes golfing a fun team sports which helps kids to stick around for a long term. Fun and Grow.

Format of play is easy and approachable for kids
Our experience with the PGA Jr. League was nothing but great!! My daughter loved playing with different team mates from our club as well as playing at different courses as well. Meeting new friends through this experience while elevating her golf game was excellent. Our Coach, Donald Pawlowski was a great coach, encouraging the kids to do their best and bringing fun and competition with a team spirit. We hope that more kids would experience this.

Team environment, access to golf course
Consistency of play, breakdown of levels, age divisions, and people who ran tournament were very kind and helpful. It was great experience for my 10 year olds daughter!
To be specific, the coaches and how they teach the kids more than golf, having tournaments though the summer, and watching how all the kids improve throughout the season.
