Great environment for kids to have fun!
PGAJLG is great for new comers and beginners to learn golf. I would highly recommend it for reason. For the allstars and sectional/regional/national level I'm much more hesitant to recommend it. There are teams and regions that dominate this, recruit heavily, and strategize specifically for these events. Smaller teams and local areas have little to no chance at being competitive. Kids should be hyped up to compete these levels as most have absolutely no chance of advancing.

A different opportunity for a player to participate on a team in a sport that's generally an individual sport. My son got to play with other kids as a team and then all the scores were added together as a further team score. They could still work on skills and excel on their own or share spotlights with other team members. Positive atmosphere and great team building while still working on their personal skills.
That little kids just getting into the sport can play on a course in a fun way with kids of all ages and abilities.

We truly appreciated PGA Jr. League. Our daughter was able to make golf friends and have a lot of fun. We wish this could be an all-year thing. Since golf is an individual sport, it it such a gift to have a supportive team experience for kids. The best ball format worked wonderfully. Our daughter had a great time and a great coach.

Really enjoyed the whole experience! From the start we were set up with a great coach who helped us with attaining a military scholarship. Coach Heather also made it an overall positive learning experience for my two daughters…only wish the program was longer. My daughters really improved over the short time, and Coach Heather really helped them to be better all around golfers. Can’t wait to do it again.
