Great way to increase interest among juniors to play snd compete. They learn by actually playing on course and applying etiquette lessons in practice.
It's the perfect format for kids from 5 - 13. It fosters team spirit, takes away some of the pressure and shows them that golf is a TEAM sport (which it is in HS and college).
The programs are very welcoming to the hearts and eyes of the young players, I see that they cant wait to get started everyday. Get along with everyone on their first day. Its a good start for them into the game. But there needs to be some well calculated ideas on how they can start to explore new opportunities in the game given the strict guidelines of COVID19. I see some kids are ready to step out to challenge themselves rather than being with the same kids year in year out. One of the parents I talked to .... their daughter had been in the program for 3 years but I was then expecting a major improvement in her game. Encourage more tournament with other programs to challenge and guage their skill levels.
The coach is absolutely amazing! The whole dynamics of structure of the league is great for all ages. Truly is an amazing program.
Great chance to introduce the game of golf to juniors in a fun format. Recommend being a little more easy on restrictions of talking to the kids during play. Some need a little extra instruction that may not necessarily be provided by the coach.
I like how they do games for the kids with best ball. This promotes confidence in the kids and makes golf fun while learning and practicing their skills.
