Consumer Testimonials
Great for first time players. Coaches were patient. It was fun!
Good way for kids to get outside, learn some fundamentals about golf, and some sportsmanship over the summer
Great Coaches. Great way to break into golf tournaments for your beginning golfers. My son played in the league from 7 years old to 10. He loved it and was able to develop well into the sport of Golf through this program (along with the PGA JR. Camps) 2 great programs.
It gives the children an opportunity to enjoy the game of golf with like-minded individuals. They have an opportunity from their teaching pros and have a great chance to visit other fine courses in the area. This year, they had the opportunity to see 4 courses, and 2 of them were new or at least they were for First name removed.
It gives kids the chance to practice beiing in tournaments without all the pressure.
Great instructor
Coaches were great
Such a fun experience and great way to introduce the littles to golf.
Coaches were great, very organized. Player learned alot
Great opportunity to introduce kids to competition style golf. The two man scramble format allows for the occasional misfit not to ruin a round.
Building great swing and life fundamentals, adding some light and friendly competition, integrated right into our country club, good late spring / early summer activity (wish there was more “bridge” activity opportunities offered during fall/winter).
My son is 5 and enjoyed jr. league. I hope as he gets older and wants to continue golf he will get more out of it. With young ones it's hard to utilize all aspects of what PGA jr league has to offer. Also where we live makes it harder. This was our first year so learning.
A fun way for kids to compete without extreme pressure.
It has been a great opportunity for my son to engage with others in golf and become part of a team!
Our coach, Kyley Tetley was outstanding. The format of traveling to other local courses to play heir teams was the highlight of my daughters season. She loved it!
We love being able to go play other area courses and the team format. It's a great opportunity for beginners to get their start and the older kids to get a taste of competition ahead of playing in high school.
Overall this was a great program for my daughter.
She got on course experience, coaching, healthy competition, had a lot of fun, built relationships, and got to play some really nice courses for a very reasonable price.
I would recommend that any young golfer participate in the league.
It is a good way for kids to further their golf game while learning to work as a team. It fosters competition and team work through a positive environment.
Great program for young golfers!
Teamwork, dedication and leadership. It brings positivity and confidence for the individuals, families and communities to become successful leaders.
Team commitment, skill development, peer competition and exposure to kids outside of their posse!
The focus on building a love for the sport while working on skills.
Loved the coaching and the care that the coaching team puts into these kids.
wonderful team building program for youth. Teaches new golfers and helps the seasoned golfer be more ready for tournaments.
The matches and scrimmages were a great learning experience for my nine year old grandson.
The team aspect
Fun and challenging. Taught sportsmanship, truthfulness, respect. Opportunity to develop patience and anger control.
9 hole scramble
I like the kids getting outside, meeting new friends, and learning new skills. I liked that it was twice a week.
