Very supportive environment to learn how to play golf. Great leadership group.
It was a good entry into competitive golf for young players.
My son enjoyed the team aspect of the program. Its a nice change from the individual tournaments
I love the team format, the scramble format and our coaches are as good as any out there!
Great community for my kid to learn golf in.
Great introduction to golf and a non intimidating way to learn the basics. The coaches were awesome and encouraging, and it was fun to get to know the other players. Playing at the other courses provided an amazing opportunity for these young golfers!
My daughter loved PGA Jr. League! She got hands on instruction and explanations on why they are learning or doing things a certain way. She played several different courses and had to learn/play by official golf rules. The coaches did not look at her, by her size or age it was about helping her and teaching her. The coaches were able to answer her questions and help her to where she understood and could duplicate it afterwards. She is already asking us to sign her up for next year! Our family can't wait!
Great opportunity to teach my son about golf as I've never been involved in the sport.
Coaching and parent engagement, variety of courses to play, practice times and venue availability
Great coaches and super way to expose kids to golf and not throw them out by themselves. Great environment! Seemed better this year but need to get the PARENTS to follow the rules set forth by PGA Jr. League.
The coaches!!!!
Cody Kelley is absolutely the best coach we could have. He’s great with the kids and an excellent golf coach. The kids love and respect him.
Had fun. Amanda is amazing with the kids
Great experience for the kids.
I especially like how it has helped my child stay active in golf through the early summer months and has been good practice for her school golf. It's good experience, and seems to be enjoyed by most all of the young players.
I like the way this league is tailored for young beginner golfers. The tournaments were set up to be fun and competitive at the same time. I like the team aspect of the tournaments and the idea that you can rely on a partner when a player hits a bad shot, which happens to everyone in golf. I like the fact the kids were able to actually focus on the golf instead of the other aspects of a real golf tournament, like being able to use a golf cart. Walking a course for a 9 yr old can get very tiring. The coach was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Great experience for my son
It’s a great program for young kids to compete and yet, have fun at the same time.
Great format and a lot of fun!
Scramble match play format
Coaches at FCC were great!
Great experiences
Gives the kids an opportunity to have fun in a competitive format
It is a fantastic introduction for young golfers to get introduced to other like-minded kids with some friendly competition.
Kids enjoyed the league and tournaments very much.
Our coach, Tosh, at oak tree, made it the most amazing experience for all of the kids!! We will absolutely continue doing it.
We will participate in whatever junior program our coach, Luke Reilly, brings to Chenal!
Each player having time to play
Or Pro instructor was very laid back and accommodating during my sons first year of PGA Junior League. The format and length of the matches were just right. This was a great experience for my son and we would love to play again next Summer.
Fantastic job this year. Adding the change where you have to live within 75 miles from your team course worked great. It was my oldest sons last year and they made it all the way to matchplay at regionals all because there wasn’t a stacked team pulling kids from 3 different sections like past years. I have two younger sons that will continue to play in it and hopefully one of them will make it to nationals some day.

Very family-friendly structured environment with a great coach/leader in Cody Kelley! Very positive with good hands on coaching to learn the swing fundamentals and the etiquette of the game.
