In the Summer/Spring season we had other teams to play against, that was great! Kids loved it. But In the fall season no other area courses had the fall JR, so we played against ourselves.
The kids are allowed to have fun and socialize without pressure. They are also taught the basics of golf depending on their current capabilities. Both main coaches are personable and good with the kids.
The program give the athletes great exposure to the game, with positive feedback and skilled instruction. The environment isn't high stress or high pressure with a focus on really learning the game and having fun. Helps my athlete really grow to love and appreciate the sport.

Our lead coach is great with kids. He provides feedback and opportunities for the kids to improve. This is another way for my son to make new friends who also enjoy the sport. Matches have been incredibly helpful in growing my sons golf game! Win-win!

Travis and Cory the league coaches were amazing and great role models. The league was nicely organized and the kids loved the program.
I think it’s a great format so the kids learn some teamwork and communication skills, and they also don’t have quite as much pressure on them as they would for individual stroke play
The coaches are very friendly and low key about competition. I like that they focus on where the kid is developmentally with the sport and give them the rules/expectations parallel with that level.

Fun for the kids
Great way for kids to practice with other parents and play golf with other kids to hone their skills.
The league allow players to work as a team and communicate on the technique they should be using to win. It is a well combine communication and technique skill training.
I liked the friendly coaches that made learning golf fun for our kids. Our daughter is not really into playing sports, but she loved playing with the PGA Jr league. Both of our children had great experiences. We love that the kids are getting exercise while they play.
