coaches and tournament locations
Gives kids a chance to play in front of a group. How many times do you blow your first drive with an audience on the first tee. This forum allows kids to acclimate to playing in a team as well as playing in front of a small gallery.
its an excellent program, my son has had the pleasure and learning and playing golf for 2 years.
It is a great introduction for beginners that is fun way to learn
Great coaches and playing opportunities.
I Love the ability of the kids to share in the intensity of " tournament play" it isn't on one kids shoulders. to have a team to play for and a teammate to play with to help shoulder the burden, really helps them get into tournament golf.
Tournaments are fun!
Fun for kids! Great way to learn the game!
The ability to be on a team is a great for the young golfers.
The West Texas Team are not treated equally. You will be playing on the Metroplex’s home courses.
Leaning golf approached in a fun way, introduction to rule and game management with each group on the course, learning golf ettiguette
The way that the kids are coached and the positive and fun environment.
Encourages good sportsmanship and let’s young golfers work as a team.
Kids and coaches were amazing and super supportive.
Everything, except the number of matches. Last year we had one less club in the group and we played more matches. This year, when a 4th club joined the group, the number of matches we played decreased. Not only does it not make sense it's questionable if it becomes worth the money to spend!
Having fun with new friends and learning and play golf
We utilized the PGA Jr. League platform to work on my daughter taking the initiative to perform every aspect of the game by herself. We knew the competition level would not be as stringent as the regular NTPGA and US Kids circuits we have grown accustomed to playing on a weekly basis, but this platform served every purpose of accomplishing what we set out to perform, which is having our daughter make the real world golf decisions as they come up in real world scenarios. We couldn’t be happier with what she learned over the course of this past season and look forward to being involved with future sessions. The coaches involved with our league were phenomenal and were always very great with actively engaging the kids and getting the best out of them all while teaching them the necessary skills to promote the growth of their skills. Highly recommended and will definitely involve ourselves in future PGA Jr. League ventures.
