Consumer Testimonials
Our coaches Ashley Nick's and Chandler Gaddis are incredible!
Great opportunity for younger kids to play team golf.
I thought that the scoring method (the hybrid scramble + match play format that resets every three holes) is ingenious to keep players of all skill levels engaged. I think that the format ensures that every kid gets to play and feel like s/he is part of a winning team. Just cannot say enough good things about it.
It's golf for kids at any level. And, the team environment is less intimidating. I strongly encourage my friends with kids who want to take up golf to start with PGA Jr. League. Instruction, games (fun), and comradery. It's what it's all about. I've been fortunate enough to watch my son grow from learning the basics through PGA Jr. League years ago to playing in Scottsdale at the National Championship. No other league provides such a vast array of opportunities for all skill levels.
Builds character. Builds conference. Teaches them the game of golf they'll know for a lifetime.
Great overall golf experience for kids
Positive environment for the kids and team format for matches.
Format and team concept
Easy to navigate the system. This is especially helpful for parents like me who have never played golf.
The kids loved it! The experience was great and helped the kids feel more connected with the sport.
Coach Duff was amazing and team was very supportive of each other
Great chance to get my kids involved in a reasonably priced golf experience that is local and time friendly.
Young golfers have the chance to improve their skills and compete in a fun and supportive atmosphere.
Opportunity for my daughter to play in a fun, but competitive environment with an all girls team.
ONE MAJOR ISSUES / SERIOUS CONCERN THOUGH:
The Yardage / Distance / Tee structure is VERY UNFAIR. High School boys distances compared vs. High School girls distances HEAVILY FAVORS towards boys. If you look at Rating / Slope comparisons, boys have a TWO to THREE STROKE advantage over girls.
IF this gets media attention and the truth came out about yardages / ratings / slope, it will tarnish the PGAs reputation.
Easy way to play actual game of golf. Learn how to score. Playing up with better players.
Good coaching, small groups, mix of matches and practice
The team competition aspect in what is normally a individual sport. Team sports play an important role in the development of a young persons character. This program gives kids who love golf the ability to experience what others who play football, basketball, etc get to experience.
I love this program. It gears the kids for a possible successful career in golf. The coaches are very engaging and knowledgeable and very much motivate the kids. My family truly appreciate the program.. We are more inclined to attend clinics and actual competition.. Thank you..
How it catered to different skill levels and was very easy to participate. Plus it was affordable.
It is inclusive. Our coaches are easy to talk to and very responsive. Our coaches are involved. Parents are also nice
The coaches are knowledgeable and take time with the children to allow the to make mistakes and learn from them. The children have fun and walk away with life lessons that can be applied on and off the course!
I love the scramble format, the opportunities for learning it creates for the kids, the potential for learning and growing together with their friends…the excitement it creates for the players in the team formats during the recreational season, all of championship season. Basically, everything.
The experience my daughter gets is so amazing!!
It’s great
Loved this league. My little girls never played golf in her life. She loved every minute. We are looking forward to her getting to play up next year!
Child says it's fun.
Friendly competition in a learning environment that allows for mistakes to be made and not be a big deal.
Coach Craig was great and getting on the course

I like the fact that the veteran players are willing to help the newbies and even the veteran parents. We played our first game last Saturday and it was so much fun. We felt very comfortable and it was great to see the kids working together as a team and the parents cheering them on!
