I feel like the PGA Jr. League was a great learning experience for my daughter. The only down side for us was when the children were rushed through their match, and missed out on playing two holes because "paying customers" were complaining behind us about the pace. However, the kids were doing exactly what we "paid for" and learning how to play the game, be respectful to others, and be respectful of the course. I feel that the situation could have been handled better.

That kids learn golf at a young age and also learn how to compete.
I like that they practiced weekly, and then had about 3 home matches. My kids loved it!

It allows the kids the opportunity to play every week in a relaxed, fun environment. Teaches them about working as a team.
I like how it gives youth of all skill levels the chance to play and improve their game.
It’s a great experience for the kids. I do wish some of the rules were more understandable and clear. Some of the matches some kids had a different tee advantage and some didn’t and it made a huge difference. Younger kids were a lot closer and some didn’t need it and some older kids hit from the same tees as younger kids and were 100+ yards farther on drives which made a par 5 pointless as they were in the green in 2 and other kids were struggling to make it in 3-4 shots.
I also wish there were more matches spread out, and the ability to play against more teams to get the kids more experience and different courses.
Daughter got to play in a fun scramble format with other young players.
Fun time for us. First time son was able to play with others in his age group and skill level. Only issue may have been rushing to get 9 holes in a few times when slowed down. It's super fun, my daughter loved it and made friends. The scramble format is fun and PGA professional Erin Craig is passionate about the program. Job well done.
Great practice for on course play. Different courses and playing as a team and against other teams is great. A wonderful self confidence for growing personally and in the game.

My son has been participating in PGA Jr for about 5 years. It has been a great experience overall. He has enjoyed playing at different courses each match and against great competitors. The coaches that run our KCC team are good with kids of all ages and skill levels.
We loved it. First name removed liked the instruction, but most importantly, he had so much fun and wants to play more golf. :)
Our club put on a great program to keep my 6 year old interested in golf and excited to play.
Very laid back, positive atmosphere. All of the kids were so kind and supportive of each other, helping each other out, giving advice. Coaches were fantastic, encouraging, fun.

My kids had a great time playing at different courses and getting to be partners with different kids each week. It was a great experience for them as a beginner golfers!
Ran very well. Kids get to compete with like talent. They also get to be somewhat independent and think for themselves. My son liked meeting new kids also
The kids all have a blast with the team play. It breaks up the competitive stroke play all year long.
Jennifer and Matt do a great job! Their coaching and management of the program make it productive and fun for the kids.

Golf is a very lonesome sport so it makes it a lot of fun when you have a teammate cheering you on.
