Coach Daniella made the league enjoyable for the kids and parents. Our daughter was on 17u but it’s her first year playing golf so the 9 hole scramble format kept her focused and allowed her to practice shots from different sections of the course. The off season golf allowed for more repetition and has dramatically improved her game while she made new friends all summer.
Timing of the games on Sunday evenings. Low pressure, fun way to get on the course and compete.

Our children participated for the first time. Aged 5 and 8. The coaches at Sawgrass CC in Ponte Vedra Beach are fantastic. Excellent instruction in a organized, respectful environment and the children thrived. Our 5 yr old, Ava, got her first par (a 3 from 30 yds out uphill) on the last hole of the last tournament. She was on cloud nine! 8 yr old First name removed is developing a smooth swing. We told the pros that we are in for next season.

Coaching. Ricky and the Little Linksters are great. Coach Ricky has really help my child develop a good foundation. I love spending time with them and watching all the little ones grow into great golfers.

The help each player receives from their teammates, how every shot isn’t so intense, the things they learn from each other and the fun they have!
We really enjoyed the scramble setup with different players — it was a great opportunity to meet new people and learn more about the game. One suggestion would be to confirm the expectations for parents in advance, as some were very involved. Clarifying this ahead of time could help ensure a consistent experience for everyone

My son had the time of his life! Golf can be a very lonely endeavor but playing PGA Jr. League helped him connect with other kids that have similar interests. I’ve never seen him smile that much playing golf. Thanks to all the coaches and volunteers that organize this league.

The Junior League PGA offers a very welcoming and friendly environment. It was an absolutely incredible experience, with great teachers and staff who truly care.
I like the fact that my son was able to play matches and learned some fundamentals about being out on the golf course without the pressure. The kids were there to have fun, and the coaches were phenomenal. Highly recommend to everyone who has a child interested in golf.
