Consumer Testimonials
Great all around experience.
It is very organized and family oriented. Our team was comprised of both experienced and novice golfers. I look forward to next season and so do the kids!
I think that it is a great way to get the kids started in golf.
My daughter had an incredible opportunity to compete and develop in an environment that would otherwise not exist or would have to wait until high school sports. She was terrified on the first tee for the past two seasons and enjoyed developing incredible confidence that will carry over into many aspects of her life.
Loved the opportunity my son had to meet other kids his age in a friendly yet competitive way. The league was a much better way to make kids feel good about competing compared to the us kids golf tournaments.
It gives the children the opportunity to play competitive golf at a variety of courses.
The flexibility. If matches cannot occur with other teams they still play with eachother.
Our experience this year was excellent! Our son learned more about the sport and acquired many new friends!
It really helped my son learn the game and the patience of the older kids and other parents was great.
Three 3-hole matches is a good way for kids to learn how to play competitive golf
Commroderie, challenging, team building, confidence builder, great model for expanding the game
Provides juniors with a team environment and ability to play at different courses with different levels of players.
Kids love it. Competition with peers is great.
Team play, less pressure, all-star playoffs.
It gives kids an opportunity to experience competitive golf (and all that comes along with the great game of golf) on course (in many cases beautiful courses the average adult will never experience), while still keeping it light and fun.
Opportunities to play different courses. Pga professional coaching
It was a fantastic experience for our sons. Dave Plarr from Ramsey Golf & Country Club is a great role model, dedicated to the kids program, and was fantastic throughout the season. He ran the program very professionally, was terrific and patient with the kids, and helpd out kids develop a love for the game where they now have the "golf bug!!" And all along they learned golf etiquette, good sportsmanship, and had tons of fun. What could be better.
It gives children of all backgrounds access to a sport they can play for the rest of their life.
The kids get to play on wonderful facilities with great kids and make new friends.
Great foundation for my son to grow from. Gregg was amazing! Patience of a saint and very knowledgeable.
Coach was great. My son loved the experience and really leaned a lot!!
Boys loved it and the coach was amazing!!
The overall experience it provides for the children is just amazing. Teamwork, respect, competition, learning the etiquette of the game, creating friendships are just SOME of the amazing aspects provided by the junior PGA league. I recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who will listen 😊. Rylee Plitz from Eagle Ridge in Lakewood, NJ does an awesome job with scheduling, organization and making it fun for the kids. This has been one of the best golf experiences for my son. Thank you for all the effort that is put into this program!!!
There are so many reasons that I love the PGA Jr. League. My son has improved his game , learning from his team mates as well as his opponents. He has a greater understanding of the rules and etiquette and is putting it into practice. The league encourages sportsmanship and the ability to both lose and win gracefully.
Our team captain Brian Varsey gives the players just enough support and instructions . Brian wants them to learn to make good decisions during the match which builds their confidence.
Although there are points involved , having fun is always encouraged . Our son is grateful for the opportunity to be part of the league and is looking forward to next season!
We love it very much! Just wish you could offer more classes more often! :)
EVERYONE is welcome and well-received - no matter what their skill level.
it was a great introduction to the game for my young son....i love that we were able to stress the courtesy and fair play aspect of this great game...to look a person in the eye, introduce yourself and wish him good luck, then try to best him while congratulating fine play along the way was an exceptional experience
Coach was great as well as format.

That the kids get to experience real life game situations at a young age and in a non-intimidating environment
