Getting them used to tournaments and the competition
1) Let kids play with kids their own age, and older kids as well, which helps younger kids aspire to improve their play to match that of older kids; 2) kids get used to playing golf with other adults and kids, not just members of their own family or relatives; 3) kids get used to playing golf in competitive play, rather than simply practice or leisurely rounds; 4) format of play/competition allowed all kids to contribute to the success of their team when they hit a good drive/iron/wedge/put, even if - overall - they were not the best player on the team; 5) emphasis on honesty and good sportsmanship; and, finally 6) my child thought it was FUN and looked forward to it every week!
I like the format. The best ball with a partner is great. They get to compete but the game moves quicker.
The program is very organized. There is no stress for the kids, they have fun but also get to compete.
The enthusiasm of the kids and watching them progress so much in a very short year. Coach Mike Gelinas is an inspiration to all and I am thrilled to have my grandson participate and he cannot wait till next season.

Amazing instructors, great program overall. Our son participated in the junior pga league for the first time this year and loved it. Coach Dave and Coach Pat are stellar with their instruction with the kids and enable them to develop a love for the game.
Organized, efficient and laid back
