The Wenham Country Club, a public course in Wenham, MA, hosted our area’s PGA Jr. League. Our seven-year-old daughter couldn’t have had a better experience. The team she was on had many girls her age, and she made some excellent friendships on and off the course. We watched her improve from a total newbie to someone whose swing is often commented on with praise by the coach. PGA Pro Ryan McDonald was the most motivating, positive, and patient coach I’ve had the pleasure of being around. I’ve played many sports in my life, and Ryan’s commitment to the children and their enjoyment of golf is genuine and enthusiastic. Having Ryan as a coach for our daughter contributed to her enjoyment of the sport and has given our daughter something I wish I had as a kid her age. I didn’t pick up a golf club until my late 20s. In a few years, my daughter will be out-driving me and posting far better scores than I could only dream of scoring. We’ll be signing her up for PGA Jr. League year after year, so long as she still finds it enjoyable.

I love that it Introduces children to the sport of golf. Offers great weekly lessons and friendly competition against others their age. My son has been a part of PGA Jr. for three years and absolutely loves it. He participates weekly with his friends and enjoys everything about it!
Great way to get more of today's youth outside and learning a lifelong game. Teaches sportsmanship, teamwork, competition and focus.

The coaches, Ryan, Matt and their staff were amazing! They kept it fun and gave great instruction. My son loved it so much his sister wants to do it next year!

Kids got out and got to really golf but it was about learning and experience not competition, which is why we will do it again.
