Consumer Testimonials
McGregor Links did a phenomenal job providing a fun and educational intro to golf. We’re coming back next year and can’t wait!
Good coach, flexible
Great experience and well worth the time and money. I highly recommend it.
I like how it gives youth the opportunity to participate in matches and get match experience with no pressure on any individual kiddo since they play scrambles.
Teamwork, honesty and etiquette are things that are more important than ever to learn coming out of the pandemic. Kids lost valuable time at an important developmental age to learn how to interact with others and this program gives them this regardless of their golf skill levels.
I like the fact that the young kids play in teams in a scramble format. It makes it more fun for them and creates an emphasis on their good shots while not having to immediately focus on a good individual score.
It was a great program! My son loved it and he learned a lot.
The competitions.
We loved the camaraderie, organization, and team building as well as it just being a fun activity for summer evenings!
I thought the team format was great. The kids really seemed engaged in each challenge. The coaches were really great.
Great way to introduce kids to the sport
It's been a great way to introduce my son to the game. Low stress and fun. Its not too competitive unless you want it to be with tournaments and everyone is supportive to other peoples skill levels.
Very well run and my son had a great time learning about golf
A fun format and setting for kids to enjoy the game while still providing a competitive environment.
Teamwork, coaching
Nice to learn with other kids and the families enjoy talking with each other while the kids have practice.
Met the kids where they were at from a playing level perspective. As much on course time as you wanted. Dedicated coaching time each session
I like that the kids are playing for something and that they get to see how others play. I wish there was some coaching involved. Help the kids improve there swing or putting, maybe on the driving range prior to playing. Also, if anything, I do recommend some lessons on proper golf etiquette on the course.
Super convenient & they were great with the kids! The kids had fun!
Well run organization, and very fun for the kids.
Gives young kids exposure to golf with etiquette and rules.
It asks junior golfers to not just compete competitively but rather with a partner. I think it teaches kids to really think about their shots and decisions on the course.
My son had a blast and learned a ton!
My son loves playing with kids his own age!
Amazing coaches!
Mike Decker at McGregor Links in Wilton, NY runs an amazing program. My girls absolutely love it and I can’t wait to enroll my son.
