Consumer Testimonials
Friendly staff, well-run events.
Great way to get children interested in the sport in a challenging and fun environment.
A good group of kids. Great environment. My son has really enjoyed it. Good staff. Who help the kids with there golf at a relaxed pace.
The coaches were all very good working with the kids: reassuring, patient, good at correcting fundamentals. I liked that it was open to all parties as we are not country club members.
Not only kids learn to play, my daughter found great new friends. Also, great opportunity for kids to experience playing on course without much pressure from other golfers.
Introduce children to the game in a relaxed way
Our local coach
We like the environment that the children are in. We like that the older kids can help the younger kids with their golf game.
Team approach
It gave our son a chance to play more golf with friends his own age and to learn more about the game. Coach Ash is a great coach!
My son really enjoyed the social and competitive aspects of the league.
Golf can often times seem like a lonely sport. It's not looked upon as a team sport by most. My daughter's excitement about the game and her ability to meet new friends, cheering for them and playing on teams has been such a wonderful experience. I appreciate coach Brett from the Andrews Airforce base PGA League for making First name removed feel welcomed and for coordinating a fun and exciting summer.
Our coach is fantastic! The matches are fun. Our boys love it!
playing with other kids make it more interesting to my kids and they also love the competition part. And of course they make friends.
Golf can be a team sport in this format
Great staff at the Gauntlet make it fun and rewarding.
I like that it was a little laid back but the kids wet still pushed to focus.
The sportsmanship, the friendliness, the togetherness and the focus on fun.
Team Competition!
LOVE IT!!
The PGA Jr league has been a most welcomed option for kids in this day and age, as all our numerous encounters with coaches, players and other parents, on our own team and every other as well, has been positive, uplifting, family friendly and mutually encouraging for the players.
Great way to introduce kids to golf. Playing a scramble format moves the the game along quickly.
PGA Jr has been a great experience for our junior golfer and the rest of the family too. Our son has really enjoyed the golf, has gained greater personal confidence, and his golf game has gotten much better too. The family loved tagging along in the carts to watch the play.
And the Reston National GC staff ran a great program. They provided solid instruction and ran a solid program.
The effort was put together, not too expensive.
The coaching from Jacob Mast at Popular Grove was absolutely amazing! He works well with the children and I know for sure our 9 year old son fell in love with the game of golf. Jacob was easy going and taught all the points of the game from game play to player etiquette, which in turn helps to mold him into a fine young man in all aspects of life. I highly recommend this program.
The structured program. The comraderie it promotes. Not sure we need the merchandise and fees every session.
Great experience for the little ones to get interested in the game.
it was a great experience - lots of kids to meet and great leadership by Kingsmill staff
