We would recommend PGA Jr League to others due to the fun learning aspect of the game of golf with other youth. Besides learning new skills and gaining knowledge in the game with other golfers, PGA Jr League provides confidence at a young age which helps develop that golfer in the long run.

PGA Jr. League is a great way for kids to learn to play golf. The format allows individuals to contribute at any point, but also takes the pressure off of every stroke so that the kids are less likely to get frustrated and work as a team. Our coach at Chantilly National Golf Club is fantastic with the kids. My son has improved immensely in a short period of time, and is having fun.
I like that my son is challenged each week, he has to work through the “mental side” of golf and learn to refocus if he has a bad drive/chip/putt. He also is learning the strategy behind the game and gets to be outside for hours.

I like the team format and best ball format. Although I would make 1 week a 4 ball and 1 week stableford to expose the kids to the different formats.
