The group did a great job of mixing up groups and skill levels. Made it so that the kids were still challenged but had good opportunities to succeed. The format and how they did the start was all very good for the age group. We will for sure do it again next year

The on course playing time. I do think there needs to be more instruction time either on separate days or prior to the on course play. In addition, there needs to be more emphasis on pace of play during course play. Discussing number of practice swings and being ready to play when it is your turn and repairing ball marks on the greens.
Coach Kelly has a passion and love for the game and the kids enjoy the league.

Kids were introduced to the game and they had fun doing it. Very low key way for them to get started and enjoy the experience.

It’s a great way to introduce kids to competition without it being all on them. It creates teamwork and has more of a team aspect so kids are feeling less pressure. The kids have to think through their decisions, work together, and win/lose together.

I loved the opportunity PGA Jr. League provided to my son. He enjoyed playing in the match format. It definitely increased his interest in the game of golf.
I really liked that the kids practiced twice a week. The lessons were fun and the coach did a great job keeping the kids engaged and learning. The tournament was very cool as well.
My son had a fantastic time. He felt comfortable and was really able to build on his basic golf skills. He ended the session looking forward to playing more golf. We wish there was another session right now close to us. He would have signed up.
