Consumer Testimonials
Organized and the teamwork aspect
Getting to play golf in middle school & playing at nice courses.
Every match I have been to has been a fantastic experience. The parents and players are so encouraging and polite. I really love the cooperation between players in deciding what ball to play and the sportmanship the young players display. This is what all youth sports should aspire to.
The coach for PGA JR. at Macarawa Legends/Holland MI is excellent with kids as well as the fundamentals of the golf swing.
This program needs expansion and support as a feeder into the middle & high school programs.
Instruction fun and friendships
Excellent program which teaches our son so many different facets for his life. Also it is a lot of fun.
Team building, camaraderie and development.
It is wonderful to get my kids with a PGA pro and play in a fun, yet competitive environment.
It is just a great time to come out, play with your friends or against them and just enjoy the game of golf. Also I have taken this time to really work on my game and it helps a lot to get extra golf in. Lastly I will say this is a great way to make a lot of new friends. So many kids that do this I have met across the states through normal play to all stars.
The format that allows the kids to have a teammate and scramble from a shorter yardage. normally a very nice group of parents on both teams enjoying watching the kids compete.
Experience
Great program. I would highly recommend it.
I love how PGA Jr. League is structured. It's really such a gift; especially for the price we pay. My daughter gets weekly instruction by a PGA professional, she gets to learn how to think through golf shots & decisions with other peers, she gets to experience competition in a TEAM environment vs. an individualistic, "it's all up to you" format (which I think as an amateur golfer still learning the sport is very important), and finally, because we are not members of a private club, she gets the opportunity to play other golf courses she wouldn't otherwise have access to. I couldn't say enough good things about this program. We recommend it to everyone!
We like the competition format, and it’s great for kids.
Giving kids opportunity to play golf and compete at a higher level in a local setting.
great way for the kids to learn and play golf! Also to make new friends and just be outside.
The teamwork aspect. The kids seem to thrive more than being an individual golfer in this setting.
Very well run. We have enjoyed the golf league for 4 years. It was great for developing my son's golf skills, etiquette, and tournament playing.
The staff at the course was so wonderful working with the kids. My child loved the program and wishes we had been able to do it prior years but we weren't members of the club yet.
Instructional for the kids yet fun. Also playing a scramble with another partner my child enjoyed.
Loved the introduction of competitive golf especially in the team format
Well organized by the PGA professionals. Instills sportsmanship and learning the game.
Well run league!
My child seemed to enjoy it and want to go. The matches. We're a big hit.
I was not sure what to expect from the PGA Jr. League at first but after the first week or so, I was completely blown away by what a great experience it is for the kids. The kids learn the game and are on a team.
My son loved it
I like that I found a program for my junior golfer who loves the game and is really good at it.I wish that he had more opportunities for golf like this.It seems like other sports are available for youth but not much for golf and especially in Michigan the season is short.
Very well ran by the coaches and clear communication made this a great experience for my child and myself.

Great introduction to golf especially with regards to rules and propper play. Nice to have PGA professional support and coaching for the kids.
