Great coaches!
Awesome value! We live nearby and my son was able to ride up and play nine hole on multiple days. Practices were held at a great time and group play was super fun for the kids.
The way the coaching staff ran the program how they worked to schedule the matches and overall growth in the kids.
Well organized. Great people, coaches, etc
Kids had a great time. Thanks
Our coaches go above and beyond for our athletes. My children have made a lot of progress on the golf course.
Fun and competitive without pressure of solo tournaments
Very positive environment, especially with the pairing of younger boys with older. Great way for kids to learn the game!
The scramble format
Great program to introduce new golfers. The program is competitive for advance golfers but enjoyable for beginners
we loved that it was more than just competitions. Our coach held no less than 10 practices and lot of those practices were held out on the golf course and not just at the range.
Competition in a low key manner
my daughter had a lot of fun playing in competitive golf and learned a lot.
The format is ideal for young golfers. They are given the opportunity to feel “big” — the PGA brand is strong and good! — 9 holes is reasonable, sometimes our son played with two partners and only played 6 holes, perfect for a 10 year old; and finally, with best shot, they are forced to communicate and compromise. Beautiful! Can’t wait for next year!
We loved the team aspect and connecting with other golfers. The matches were a lot of fun and an ability to make friendships. Our daughter loved the league!
We like the team atmosphere and the scoring format. The match play/flag system really keeps the kids engaged in their matches.
The format works well for ages involved. Non weekend events nice for summer travel. Coaches genuinely interested in the kids and their progression and foster continued child involvement.
I like that they are paired with another player as they are introduced to the competitive part of the game. It also challenges them to work with another individual while trying to figure out which shot to take.
The league was a great learning experience for my son.
My son really enjoys playing golf. He is learning good habits right away. This beats self taught bad habits leaving you frustrated and uninterested in the game as an adult.
I think that this is a very good way to get youth into golf. We chose not to be members of a country club, but have a Son who wanted to try it out. The fundamentals were good and Steve was patient, kind, and good. Our only thought (and we understand that this probably isn't feasible) would be to have a 7 to 9/10 year old group and a 9/10 to13 year old group?
Thanks.
The responsibility and growth of young people. It’s great they are learning a life long sport and being taken seriously.
Everything! Was a wonderful experience for my 9 year old!!!
Great for kids and team building/relationship skills
Competitions. Teaching respect and good sportsmanship. Teaching a life-long activity.
This was our 1st year and we thought the program was great!
great format and my son had fun with it
We have 2 boys playing at Brown Deer, they have been learning, having fun, and enjoy the structure of the teams and games. It is a great league for young ages to start, our family love it!!
It gives the children the experience! The children to carry the game on and keep it alive for many more years to come

Younger kids learning from older kids. Partners are fun. The format is fun as far as scoring done every three holes.
