Structure of play.
Love the opportunity to play golf with kids their own age in a nurturing environment. The coaches that worked with our son were phenomenal and clearly care about the game of golf but also/more importantly the kids in the program.
The best ball scramble helps the kids to not get too frustrated with where their ball lies and they can hit from their partner's ball. Being paired up with others that are their age and same gender (if possible).

I like that it introduces the team concept to golf at an early age. It helps to start driving those concepts early, versus trying to coach those concepts in the junior high, high school and college levels.

Love the team aspect and how well it connects kids to the game in a fun but still mildly competitive way.
One negative this year is that we never received the team shirts or hat. Was still the full price. That left me with a very upset child since she has saved every shirt since she started at age 6.
Competition
The PGA Jr. League has been a fantastic experience for many years. Playing golf as a team and getting to compete in the national event has been incredibly rewarding.
Good to have scheduled practice time along with a good introduction to golf for young players.

Swan Lake Jr PGA was a great experience and my daughter had a lot of fun. John the pro was very helpful and informative. We plan on staying part of the Swan Lake jr PGA.
My 12 yo enjoyed the PGA Jr. League this year. He learned a lot and grew as a player.
