Consumer Testimonials
It gave my daughter a chance to play some competitive golf before her middle school season.
Tailored to the child’s age and abilities. Provides positive feedback and encouragement
This was a great camp and my son found a love for golf he didn’t know he had. He wanted to stay after every practice and keep hitting balls. He is now going to do private lessons with the coaches.
The coaches were wonderful with the kids!
Mr. Henry was a great coach
Playing golf with kids his age
The format of the league with the opportunity to play matches around different communities. Coach and supporting team members.
Loved how organized our coach was and how the kids all worked as a team in tournaments. The whole experience was a blast.
I suppose first, is that it's open to the public. But tied with that is that the Braelinn Club in Peachtree City, GA and its coaches are kid and family-friendly and committed to giving kids access to golf. They've been great to work with thru Jr League
We love everything about it. Coach Derek Sauser out of Canton is an amazing coach, and he definitely helped make PGA Jr League a wonderful experience.
Coach Westmoreland was great! He took his time with the kids and we throughly enjoyed this summer league! Looking forward to the fall league as well.
Great way for kids to learn the game of golf!
Content being learned. Playing the course. Coach is great
It was a great introduction to the game for my son and he is now hooked on golf. Derek and the Brickyard team did a great job with our boys. Only complaint I have is that my son with others didnt receive his jerseys or hat until after the season was already over. He also never got the bag and bag tag that was part of the package.
Our coach!
As a father of two children (boy and girl) who are two years apart, seeing them as a team of two is such an amazing and emotional experience! I do not think there is any other sport league out there that can enable the same kind of experience. The coaches are also top notch and work so well with the kids!
TJ at Doublegate did a great job working with the kids to teach the game of golf and make it fun for all ages.
Coaching
They are concerned about motivating and giving young people the opportunity to be active in golf.
It is a positive atmosphere for the kids. I like their coach Elizabeth Clarkson. The kids are really engaged and enjoy the experience
We love the team atmosphere, great golf coach, being able to meet new friends and play on other courses!
The coaching and practices
The coaches are encouraging & knowledgeable. Course practice is fantastic. Builds confidence and experience
The coordinator, Peggy Roberts, is great with the kids and I can significant growth in my daughter’s games as well as her interest
GA PGA has always done a fantastic job
Well run, great relationship builder with the kids
Relaxed yet still enough competition to keep kids engaged / Pinetree CC coach Corey Evans is awesome
Very fun experience. Both my kids love it. Henry Westmoreland, our coach, is the best!
Coach Beth is great!
I think it teaches young players about the game of golf early on in their lifes in a competitive, but fun format through the month-long PGA Jr. League seasons. It teaches the rules of the game, and the importance of good sportsmanship as well as etiquette, so critical to the game of golf.
