I think it teaches young players about the game of golf early on in their lifes in a competitive, but fun format through the month-long PGA Jr. League seasons. It teaches the rules of the game, and the importance of good sportsmanship as well as etiquette, so critical to the game of golf.
The coaches are very involved and great with the kids. The kids love competing and comparing their games to others of their own age.
Oswald is great.
As a beginner, kids can learn rules and etiquette while really playing game.

I liked the playing format with the "best ball" method. This was a good introduction for my 9 year old son to competitive golf without putting a bunch of pressure on him. I also liked the 3-hole flag system. This setup keeps the boys engaged throughout the match and makes it fun. Great job by the coaches this season to make sure all the participants had fun in a positive environment! We will be back again for the spring season.
The entire league is great.
Great place for kids to play the game they love and get tips and tricks. The kids learn to make their own calls on the course and make decisions with other kids.
PGA Jr has been a successful experience. All of the teammates are very supportive and Oswald Drawdy is a great coach.
Very pleased for the opportunity for my child to play golf in a tournament based setting and very happy with the quality of the professionals leading the junior league at Charlie Yates golf course in Atlanta, Georgia.
My kids so enjoy PGA Jr League! It was the best decision we ever made for them, especially my daughter, who's not quite as competitive as our son. The love playing alongside their friends and the sportsmanship it brings!

Very enjoyable time with other families. For the most part the golf is fun. The only issue I have is the playing for “Flags”. When you defeat a team and they comeback and say you lost because they got the most flags? I would like to see stroke play with a cap on the strokes per hole.
My daughter had a great time & improved over the season.
I like that it allows the kids to learn how to problem-solve.
