Both my sons First name removed and Grady Last name removed played a few weeks ago at the Timberlake course in Chapin,SC. This was our first tournament experience and it went great! My boys are both at the very early learning stages of the game but everyone there made us feel so welcomed and extremely comfortable. It was great to see so many young girls and boys involved in the tournament. Quite honestly I was pleasantly surprised that so many kids are getting involved! We have to keep it up!!! Wonderful experience for both my wife and I, along with my boys. I have and will continue to past the word on the PGA Jr. League!!

Our Coaches for our PGA Jr. League are AMAZING!!!! They are so good with the kids and really know how to help them improve. They also take great care to instill a love for the game of golf. The PGA Jr. League program is also well organized and really geared to kids instead of adapting an adult program for kids. Our family loves PGA Jr. League.

Best ball format, letting young players get experience
It's a great opportunity for our child to learn the sport while developing team work skills. It helps teach our daughter to be accountable for herself and work hard for herself and her team.

Playing golf as a team
Format of tournament is fun for kids. Opportunity for younger players (8) to play golf as part of a team. Fun environment, great organizers and volunteers. Very well run. I would love to see Fall and Spring opportunities as well as summer.
The leauge is very well run and our Coach/PGA Professional was and is absolutely amazing with the kids who found the balance of instruction while making the game fun!

It provided an opportunity to for young golfers to play on an "even" playing field with golfers of than own age, which in turn allowed them to find some success in match play. It also provided opportunities to practice with the club pro, and golfers of the same age with more experience. This allowed for tips and instruction that came from their peers, not just adults.

The league organized and held at Trump National Golf Club Charlotte was well run. It was great for the kids to play all matches on their home course versus traveling. It was a fun and relaxed way for my daughter to improve her golf skills.
The ability for the juniors to work together without the parents getting involved. The juniors are encouraged to problem solve and figure out what they need to do in order to get their back in the hole. Well organized event and has really encouraged my son in his love for golf.
