Great introduction program for beginning golfers.
PGA Jr. League is the best introduction to competitive golf for all junior golfers. Combining a team atmosphere for a sport that is generally an individual game creates friendships that would otherwise go missing in a traditional tournament.
I like that it provides an environment for kids to come out in and play golf in a fun and relaxed team setting. Kids learn to make friends on the team and compete with their friends as well, which makes them look forward to coming back each and every week.
I think it's the best program out there. It gives kids of all ages the opportunity to not only get on the golf course but play competitively in a no pressure fun environment. The organization of the league is always handled smoothly and speaking as a coach that has had as many as 6 teams in a season, I know my membership couldn't be happier with the product we put out. I do however which more focus went into the 17U league. Almost no other local clubs' field a team (which only requires 4 players) which means we have to play some courses that are 1 or 2 hours away. Hope fully we can improve on that but otherwise fantastic.

Fantastic event for the juniors and families to learn and play as a team. Gets parents involved which is very helpful and important also.

PGA Junior League is a great way to introduce young new golfers to the game. It is also so beneficial to see the somewhat older kids or more experienced kids help the new golfers.
On both levels it is a great learning opportunity. We also use this league as a feeder system for our more competitive league.

PGA Junior League is a no brainer for ALL types of facilities. It's a program that will be successful wherever it's launched. As long as the PGA professionals running the program are enthusiastic about it, it will be very well received

I have been coaching PGA Junior League for over 10 years. The format is great and the kids learn about competition and sportsmanship. I believe that the coach has the responsibility to foster the kids down the correct path. Unfortunately, I have seen a few coaches that do not foster these traits to their kids. Overall, I love PGA Junior League and will continue to coach for as long as I'm capable.

It's a great way to grow the game and transition junior golfers from the range / practice areas to the golf course. Through this experience, you also are able to see the development of other crucial life qualities, such as leadership, camaraderie, honesty, and encouragement.
