Coach Testimonials
Love the team aspect and camaraderie that grows during junior practices and matches. The friendships, which are made and grow throughout the years is priceless. I’ve been involved with the PGA Junior League from the beginning. It has grown so fast and has made the game more fun and less stressful for all involved.
Everything. Still the best program going!
PGA Jr. League is the BEST program a club can offer to it's junior golfers. It is a wonderful way to grow the game and have a friendly competition.
The Scramble format is perfect to keep all levels of juniors engaged.
The jerseys and inviting playing format for the kids.
The joy these kids have in playing with one another and the new friends they make
Opportunity for junior golfers that are very raw in the game to compete without alot of pressure but can help the team with one good shot.. It brings them back and gives them the feeling that I have everytime I hit one of those shots.. There's nothing like it!
I enjoy seeing the kids learn about golf and the benefits it can give them in their lives!
It gets kids interested in golf in a low pressure fun team atmosphere!
It’s the best initiative the Pga has made in my 20+ years as a Pga member

I love the team concept which allows players of all skill levels to learn, play and compete.
The kids and parents like the team format.
Great program. You’d be crazy not to have a team.
The overall experience for the kids is amazing to watch. Watching them grow together throughout the season and becoming closer friends on and off the golf course is really cool to see. As a coach, being able to lead our team and facilitate these friendships, the teamwork, the camaraderie, and push towards a common goal is a great experience for me. To see the smiles along the way is really gratifying.
It’s a great way for kids to get into competitive golf and feel like they are part of a team.
The PGA Jr. League is simply the best growth of the game initiative the PGA of America has instituted.
We were able to get 12 families together as a team which makes it easier to build friendships for these juniors and parents.
The format promotes interest without the feeling of failing. Encourages a social environment
Kids love the team aspect to golf
The mentoring of the younger / less experienced players by the more experienced players.
The family involvement.
The team concept takes pressure off the kids. They also get valuable course time. During our matches they learn a lot about the intricacies of the game thanks to assistant coaches.
The opportunity for kids to compete in a more relaxed format.
Kids loved it. It was a great format for newer golfers
Good growth of the game

Great starting point for introducing kids to the game. Gets them out on the course playing versus too much time learning swing fundamentals on the range.
