Providing kids a fun team to play on. A great introduction to competition while having fun. A chance to learn the rules or gain a better understanding of the rules.
I believe what helped grow our group from 17 to 51 players was the freedom we had within the league to set our own rules. We allowed all players to play all 9 holes. We were able to keep the league casual and allowed younger players to start and learn. They learn a lot by doing and feeding off the more experienced players.
We were able to get 12 families together as a team which makes it easier to build friendships for these juniors and parents.
