Good energy in exercise room in Lakewood
Great group exercise classes. Just wish there were more and more varied.
I was very glad to be able to do my water workout at the Y while the Rocky River Recreation Center was shut down for their routine maintenance. I have the Silver Sneaker membership which allows me to use several different facilities. Having lived in Lakewood in the past, I was familiar with this facility and some of the classes. Keep up the good work.
clean equipment that is always available. Nice / friendly staff. AC has been fixed and it's cooler on the floor now.

My daughter loved her summer experience! They did things daily and had field trips. She had an adventurous summer to remember because of the YMCA camp!

Water aerobics and water jogging are terrific! However communication among staff and members is often lacking.

Stronger body , stronger mind
After speaking with Leighann this morning she meticulously outlined how my areas of concern were going to be addressed. I’m appreciative of her time and patience. I will take her (and support her) at her word in that these areas will be taken care of. That said, I would then be most comfortable in giving the Lakewood Y a “10” and recommending the facility to others.
The machines I use for my workouts are there. I’m very grateful they are and are available to me.

The pool
Honestly, I wish there was a bit more communication between home and camp, because I'm not so sure what even happened at camp - all I know is that my 7 year old was very happy and content and felt really comfortable all day at camp. It seemed like the counselors really enjoyed their roles and made the effort to get to know the kids and be good role models. I think the field trip to the Crushers game was great and the weekly swimming.
