They offer a lot of times, after work times that aren’t just 6pm. So if I get off later I’m still able to participate.

So much to do for seniors. And I feel so good after a workout. Love the water aerobics, silver sneakers and the weight room.

Chair yoga with Ann on Weds at 9:30 is great!

Swimming laps is wonderful. Guards excellent. Guards should be paid as higher wage!

I like my instructors and my fellow class students. AOA director is new, but doing a good job, too. The people at the front desk are friendly and helpful.

My only complaint is cleanliness. The facility is often dirty. For example, in the hot tub area there were dirty paper towels in a corner for over a week. Generally, the entire facility needs to be cleaner, but specifically the pool/spa area and the locker rooms.

Whatever your interests, whatever your age or daily schedule, whatever athletic or health-related activities you're interested in, the Lakewood Y has something for you. My daily 5:30 a.m. workout there is an indispensable part of my life -- and an amazingly invigorating way to start the day.
