wide variety of classes and activities
employees are super kind
Everyone is helpful and friendly. Class are just right for seniors' ability! Thank your for taking care of us old folks! :) Phylis Pomerantz
There are quite a few to choose from. I always get a good workout
The trainer was great!! She was very patient which is helpful with a beginner!! Would highly recommend.
I feel like the classes should be longer to really benefit from the course especially since it’s a group session and individual attention is needed.
Ms. Tracey Peek from the beginning with registering for the camp to today has ALWAYS gone beyond her call of duties to do what she can to make things happen.
Also, the back-office staff were willing to work with their facilities staff to get things done.
Granted it took persistence and knowledge of how to get things done, but I will always acknowledge and give thanks to those who always do above what's needed to help make things possible.
This is a well-ran facility, and we will certainly be back next year.
Older adults programs. YMCA monthly newsletter. Friendly staff. Offering day trips with JKL tours.
I don't like exercising in the gym without air conditioning. The large fans just move hot air around.
Very different and very interesting

I am enjoying the open swim, it would be great to have something in the evening so I can swim after work
I like the activities for seniors. I am happy to be able to use the pool daily
The instructors are interested in helping each client. The building is clean. The help at the desk are attentive and always helpful
A nice variety of activities
I like the cycle lite
I like the ratio of the classes and the many choices we have to choose from.
Senior citizen classes
I think Ester is terrific leading the Fitness After Fifty class. I think Samantha is also good leading Pure Strength. I miss Brenda at the front desk. She was a wonderful person. Always had a kind word to say.
Everyone is very nice and kind at the Hillcrest Y. My kids love their swim lessons instructor and the playroom staff and I love my Zumba and Yoga classes.
I am a member at Warrensville as it’s not far from my home. But I do a lot of trips with hillcrest. They are very organized and offer things like that for my liking. They have a great organizing staff.
I went on my first bus trip to Catawba Island. I wasn’t sure how it would turn out because I went by myself. I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone was so friendly as if we were long time friends. It was relaxing to get away from the city. I am from Geneva Ohio originally. One of my friends don’t like to travel and the other friend’s husband is sick and can’t be left alone. I will be saving up money to go again. Thank you for asking for my survey. Happy traveling. Name removed
I enjoyed the senior bus trip to Catawba Island, Marblehead and & Winers. It was well organized. I enjoyed meeting others and, the fun and shopping I experienced.
I love the water classes; Cynthia is a good instructor The knitting group is lots of fun. We meet on Mondays at 10:30 every week. I have met some very nice people through the classes.
The hours are convenient and instructive
The work of my trainer Sami Caruso Taylor has been exemplary. Also, even though I have not taken part in any of the field trips sponsored by the Hillcrest Y, many of them interest me, and I hope to register for one of them before long.
That you actually have trips and excursions for your members.
I don't like that males are allowed in the women's locker room. They should be taken to the family locker room. There should be signs enforcing this, and the staff should enforce it. I also don't like the competition pool schedule during swim team.
Friendly
The variety in classes and staff.
I go to aquafit classes 3 or 4 days a week. The instructors are exceptional! The water is gentle on arthritic joints and the exercises with music make the time fun. It’s a well attended class so signing up early is the only way to get in.
