I only have used the room with the machines. At one time I belonged to Fitworks, but I changed to the Y. It is smaller and less crowded, The people who use the machines usually wipe them down after a session. I feel more comfortable in this environment.

Something for everyone.
I find the Hillcrest to have the equipment and the activities that I want. It has lots of activities that appeal to me and others. One complaint I have is that I have seen Hillcrest personnel use the men's room and walk out without washing their hands. This is unsanitary. Especially in these days of germs and viruses going around. It would be good to emphasize that washing hands helps to prevent the spreading of diseases.

Other than her, I love the variety of offerings that go above exercise, especially the trips. The atmosphere at the Hillcrest Y is inclusive. The employees are always smiling, professional, helpful and fun!
