I've been a Don Franklin customer for 12 years since moving back to Kentucky. Don Franklin's service and sales have been exceptional. I use the term "exceptional" in both ways. For some dealerships, it is exceptionally good. Campbellsville is in that category. The dealership in Columbia, not so much. At a recent service of my Ford F150, and after spending over $1,000 for fluid changes and some minor repairs, the truck was returned to me with the brake light and ABS light shining brightly. I saw the lights as I was driving out of the lot. I turned around and went back to see why I wasn't at least informed about the lights being on and why they might be on.
There was no offer to pull the truck back in and inspect the problem or explanation of why the mechanic would not have commented on why the lights were on. When I asked if someone could look at it, they said, "Well, the mechanic just left." There was no offer to help further.
Again, Don Franklin in Campbellsville is great - very focused on customer service. My experience with the dealership in Columbia prompts me not to go back there.
Buying our Equinox last Friday was a seamless, wonderful blessing.
