The gym rooms are extremely clean and I love the fact that team members are on the floor to clean up when people don't clean up after themselves! It's a total 180 from Lifetime. I have yet to try one of the classes but will soon enough.
The instructors, environment & choices!
It would be nice to have more face to face workout classes.
I believe this YMCA is unique with the amount of programs it has to offer. The swim exercises is great along with training and the gym. The staff is always friendly and easy to work with.

The child watch/maker space staff is exceptional. My children look forward to particular staff including Ms. Regan, Mr. Issac and Mr. Johnathan. I wish there were more classes on Sundays and step classes more than once a week.
varied, and like the expanded schedule
I love all the classes available for my wife and I to take throughout the day. I love all the employees in the child watch and how excited my 18 month old is when he gets to go in and play.

Friendly staff and other members
Classes for all age levels & intensities. Zumba classes are fun & we feel like a family as we gather together for our health.
I haven’t partaken in any programs or activities, although I may in the future. I only wanted to say the weight room is too small and needs to be bigger.
The instructors are amazing! They are very informed on their programs and encouraging! I love zumba and aerial yoga!
I have never participated in any programs or activities but the facility is always clean and staff and patrons are always nice and helpful.

This YMCA (Lake Houston YMCA) does a great job. The staff and facilities are top rate. Extra mention to Talybra, Andrew and Michael.
Hopefully the opening hours will go back to 4:30am (currently at 5:00am) post COVID.

Great place to be with your family and friends but specially to cash up with a good routine ficus on your health and positive things.
I have been a Y member off and (mostly) on for the past 35 years. I have always loved the Y. But, the Lake Houston Family YMCA, after it's rebuild, is beyond belief. It is so well designed. It is fun to go and workout there. I haven't used the pool since Harvey, but the weight room is great. I love the windows and the tall glass that looks out onto West Lake Houston Parkway. I belong to another gym in Humble, but it's not the same. Not even close. The Y is great!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hours open and something for the whole family
I love the classes at Lake Houston YMCA. The instructors motivate me to come in and work out. That's the most you can ask of a workout facility!
