Calm, clean, peaceful, family friendly environment
Lots of options. Friendly staff.
We love the new skills and the relationships that we've made. It seems like there could be more structure and more communication (especially in the beginning regarding coaches/volunteers/etc). But it all worked out and we've had fun.
The variety and availability of different times.
Front desk is great. Ginger does a great at arranging activities for seniors. Conner is always available to answer questions and keep things running smoothly. These three are why I give the Y a 10.
Good instructors, varied classes and a friendly front desk group.
I thrive with group classes. I do Low Impact Combo, Foreverwell Strength, and Foreverwell Combo. I love all these classes and instructors as they keep me fit. As an active senior I appreciate that!

Events for seniors
Different types of exercises and the couches that help you
Everything about the Y says wholesome, family, kids, seniors, and a pleasant environment to exercise and socialize. I love the Y. I have been a member for 30+ years. When I used to work downtown I had a all inclusive Y membership that let me use every Y in the city. I used to workout before work and at lunch at the downtown Y and on weekends at the LHFY in Kingwood. You simply cannot find a more beautiful and enjoyable place to exercise and socialize.
The Y has everything you could want!
Programs seem to touch all age groups and ethnic, cultural backgrounds.
I enjoy having Ellen and Elfi as instructors for the classes I attend.
