The YMCA on West 34th is a wonderful facility. There is a sense of community along with excellent programs; equipment, cardio, stretch classes that benefit its' members.
I am speaking specifically about Trotter. I think it's time to discontinue the use of the reservation system. Also, I would vote we do NOT move Laura's core class back to the gym. The great room is better as there are mirrors and a sound system.
I can't say enough great things about two specific instructors, Laura Last name removed and Rachel Shada!
I like how involved Eliot gets his seniors during his 9 am classes on Monday and Wednesday. I like being able to try different classes.

I’ve only used the pool and showers. The facility is clean and well kept. I also had a pleasure to be greeted with smiles by the front desk. The close proximity to the White Oak Bayou trail makes the location super.
Pool temp is perfect.

My only surprise was being in the shower when somebody flushed a toilet and the water pressure plummeted.
Love the pool heated to 84......wish at least one weekday it was open after 11am.......

There's a variety of classes for seniors and it's family oriented.
Tried the water exercise on Saturday. It was a great program and I worked the whole time and had a fun time as well! Stayed for the Zumba water class which was also fun and different. I recommend both for moving all your muscles with less resistance.
I like having Eliott back and would also like a 11:00 am class. When you remodeled I wish you had put in a indoor pool but I'm sure you had reasons not to. I'm 94 years old and Love my Y! Looking forward to many more years of fun and family.
