Friendly staff. Hours. Pools.
I like and is very nice the warm weather. I like the trainings ladies on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. I still don’t know all the activities
Like the variety of clases.
I like the variety of classes offered, the fun instructors that teach, and the great people that attend the classes. There are always other activities offered in addition to exercise classes.
I have been a member for one year and have been pleasantly surprised by my YMCA and all it has to offer. Talk about a great bang for the buck!!

The Duncan YMCA is a good place to go to exercise and build up your strength to become a stronger person.
To me the availability of the swimming pool is most important. I am pleased to have it available despite stormy weather disruptions and staffing struggles.
When I am there I observe other exercise programs an note with pleasure that the participants are fully engaged in them.
I like the variety
Yoga and the sauna
I really enjoyed my first visit to the Y on Clay Rd. to do water aerobics.
My gym, LA Fitness on Beltway 8 and West is closing the end of December. The pool at the Y was nice and warm and large to accommodate the ones taking the class. The class was great. I drive 15 minutes to get there. The drive doesn’t bother me because the class is at 10 am.
My only drawback at the Y was the lack of women’s showers. I always shower at the gym after my water class. I find 6 showers lacking. Women were standing in line waiting for a shower.
Well, to be honest, I do not use your programs. I do, however love going over there working out, The facility is clean, friendly and well maintained.
Silver Sneakers when Analyse (sp?) is teaching.
Variety of events for all age groups.
There are always different types of activities. Although do not attend all of them, the ones that I have attended are very well planned and organized. The monthly birthday bash is always a good time to just visit and to get to know others at the YMCA.
whirlpool, inside pool, large lap pool
Aquatics, weights, exercise equipment, gym, and childcare. Like out of school activities.
And the new Director is very active and involved in the building and community.
Weight training and Lap pool
Great variety!
The opportunity for group exercise with others encourages me to get out of the house and work with people who have similar goals with good company.
I very much appreciate the new Yoga classes - noon Monday and Wednesday with Rachel, as well as Friday Sunrise Yoga with Ida. These are very strong and beneficial practices. Thank you for that. Additionally, I recently found Mimi's excellent Tuesday Pilates class. Also very helpful for me and my ongoing strive for fitness.
What our Duncan Y has sometimes been missing is continuity of classes. It is best to get into a rhythm and make every preferred class. When classes are cancelled, this fitness rhythm can be quickly lost. So here's hoping we are now in a good rhythm.
Thank you for soliciting my opinion. I hope to make use of Duncan YMCA's many benefits for years to come. Ken Knezick, age 72

The warm Rec pool is great for our young grandchildren.
Very clean and has several exercise machines. Never packed
I really appreciate the childcare workers, they actually do arts and crafts with the children which is nice. My kids enjoy their time there while my husband and I workout.
The care & kindness..

Everyone on the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I love the Silver Sneakers classes taught by Analia. She is one of the most caring leaders I have ever encountered. She makes me want to come to class even when I don't feel like it.
