Comfortable atmosphere, nice pools and variety of workout machines and equipment. Only disappointment is the limited time facility is open on weekends. But I support that workers have time to be at home with their families.

What do you like about our programs and activities ?

The fitness room is the most modern and elaborate that I have seen. There is a roomy free weight area and more weight training machines and cardio equipment than I have seen at a fitness center. All of the equipment is top of the line and well maintained.

Love the Langham Creek Y. GREAT homeschool PE program with a great coach! Recently, they added a great cardio strength class for the moms that are there during this hour. I have really enjoyed their improved program.

I am very happy with the YMCA and its facilities to make excersies that help me to be in good shape.

What do you like about our programs and activities ?

I really love my Y. I have fun at the classes that I am able to attend (with one caveat, below), and I love all the community outreach programs that the Y supports. The childcare is also great for my son, it's so much better than we experienced at L.A. Fitness.

That said, I have two key pieces of feedback that I hope you'll consider:

First, I would love it if Langham Creek would consider offering the Virtual Les Mills program that they put in at McWilliams YMCA. I am a working mom, and it's so hard for me to find class times that work with my schedule. It seems like the virtual option opened up so many more class times, especially late night ones that I could attend after I put my kid to bed. Please please please consider adding this, or putting more late classes on the schedule!

Second, the woman who teaches yoga on Sundays (Deborah) is not only unqualified to teach yoga, she's also constantly verbally abusive to people attending her class. I would love to be able to do yoga on Sundays but I have stopped because the instructor is so vile. She berates students, she doesn't actually know the basic principles of yoga, and she really is an awful reflection on the Y. I hope you'll have someone audit the class and see just how awful she is.
