Several times I have signed up for appointments at the pool. When I arrived the guard did not have my name for any slots. I have taken to bringing my printed acknowledgement.

I just re-joined so I have been using the various machines in the exercise room. I intend to take classes at a later date.
Love that u are christian based organization. I have enjoyed & benefited from the low impact cardio classes, some zumba classes, & using a tread mill. I wanted to add that Laura G who is instructor for low impact cardio is just outstanding. She makes exercising really fun and enjoyable. She is so good about demonstrating & explaining each exercise before we have to do it. We have had several subs for her over the past years & I also attend this same class on other days that she does not teach --there is no comparison. Before Covid, I had to go at least 10 min. before class started in order to fine a space to stand! Everyone just loves her. I also zoomed in on a couple of educational classes with doctors leading on health issues--very beneficial. Everyone of the staff is always extremely helpful and kind. When I was told I had to register on my cell in order to attend a class, panic set in. I only do the basics when it comes to electronic devices. I wish I could have remembered the girl's name (at the desk) who was sooo patient with me & assured me that I could learn how to register for a class. I told her that I stopped by originally to ask if I could just come by a day before each class I wanted to attend and have someone at the desk add my name to a particular class. She indicated she could not do that. She walked me through it very slowly and then had me do it on my own. She made me do it a second time to assure myself that I could do it. She then told me if I had any difficulty to please not hesitate to call "that's why they were there". It doesn't get any better than that!

I love the group exercise classes! The instructors really push you to do your best and everyone is so supportive of one another. It really feels like a big family when you walk in the door.
The variety of activities to keep work outs interesting, from free weights to boot camp style. My teenage boys love to work out at the Y.

The group classes are the best. Lori and Jill G are two of the greatest instructors I’ve ever had and I look forward to going to their classes every week. Thankful more classes and times have opened up, it helps with my busy schedule.

Love the reservation system for classes. Hope we don't drop it when covid goes away. I'd much rather know I have a spot reserved for class than getting there and finding it full.
I like the group experience classes especially Zumba, the energy and vibe the instructors have keeps me coming back to classes. I like playing volleyball I would suggest that you schedule open time in the gym to play volleyball just for fun. I used to belong to the YMCA in west Texas and they actually had coed volleyball leagues. I participated in that would love to see that coming in the future.

I love the instructors for the group classes. I love that the room is clean and evenly spaced.
Water activity is my favorite way to enjoy the YMCA. Please add a water Zumba class.
I only use the pool, including the daily classes. I like that there is a different instructor each day; thus we get a variety of moves to keep the body fit! The enthusiasm and professionalism of the staff is contagious. The atmosphere is always delightful. And I must include pool lifeguards in my assessment since they too take their jobs seriously and do so with a smile.
I would like to see more dance exercise for older adults. Jackie or Desiree are very good with connecting with the their students, very cheerful and just enjoys being with older students. Love both of them.
