Thanks for those “Y”
The Y is a friendly and welcoming gym. Great instructors who make exercise fun!
I love to swim at the Y. I hope to take some other classes there in the future. I am interested in a meditative, slow yoga class that has an emphasis on stretching and tai chi chuh, an 18 movement Tai chi class.
early availability during the week
I love how much this facility have group experience options. Especially Les Mills programs.
You have a lot of classes
Variety of classes and activities!
Love DALILA and her Zumba classes!
Good options and convenient schedule
The variety of exercise classes
I really like the instructors and the variety of classes available. I have recently begun using the weight room for the first time, and the equipment is wonderful! I also really appreciate the fact that members opinions are asked for and valued by the instructors and management. Thanks for everything you do.
Great morning mind body classes.
Would like more mind body options starting in the 5:00 pm hour.
The instructors are amazing
My kids was in stroke boosters program and they liked the class very much
Fantastic instructor Laura highly motivated instructor . I love our classes.
Atmosphere
I like the variety of classes offered and times. I like all the instructors. They are all informative and let members know of correct form during class.
I enjoy the virtual sessions when I do the cycling.
Like the multiple variety in group fitness classes.
All! Can you please add towel service?
Instructors in water aerobics are dedicated to ensuring a great workout taking into consideration our age and strength ability. They also challenge us to gradually push harder.
I like the variate and time options for all the classes.
The atmosphere, where everybody is helpful and friendly. And where I can stay strong and healthy by joining the group for exercise and machines
forever well
I love the Y but here are some recommendations:
At the height of Covid, there were many anti bacterial cleaning bottles available. Now, you are lucky if there are two in each class. We need to sanitize now as much as we did before, so please provide more bottles/cloths in all of the exercise rooms.
Would love to see pilates held in a bigger room or more frequently. It is impossible to get into some of those classes.
Thank you.
Great instructors in Group Ex!
Location is great, close to home, my kids use the gym all the time for basketball.
I love the group classes (body pump, body jam, body flow, step, etc.). The instructors are always very good.
The people at the front desk are always very nice and friendly and helpful.
I enjoyed the international dance party (2 hour special group fitness thing). I think it would be fun to have additional "longer" group things every once in a while. Or maybe a day of everything, like 15 minutes of attack, 15 of combat, 15 of body step, etc. so people can try everything and have a different workout day and build community.

I like the classes. I'm in between Forever Well classes (too easy and I didn't feel like I was getting benefits) and the regular classes. Although I do like the Tone classes taught by Laura and Denise. I just wish there were more classes geared to very active 60 year olds. Somewhere in between Forever Well and Body Combat. I would like to see one or two more low impact aerobic classes similar to what Laura teaches on Wednesdays at Katy Main Street. Her Wednesday class has a big following. I know she teaches it on Thursdays at KMS but I take her Tone class at Monty Ballard that day. One more comment. I really appreciate the Tone classes at KMS that Laura and Denise teach on Monday & Wednesday late afternoons. I have been a regular at attending those classes since they started, but there have been very few participants. If it doesn't pick up in January, I would suggest cancelling those classes because they put too much effort in teaching and have very few participants or perhaps moving them to another time frame in the mornings. I would hate to see the classes go because I really like them, but it's really not fair to them.
