large number of weight machines and ellipticals; on site running track and proximity to running trail in Tanglewood; as well as the peaceful garden area on site
This YMCA is a special place where many smart neat people of all ages congregate to get healthier. The casual conversations with the women I meet makes me want to come more. They are careful, high class people. Many live within walking distance.
It is a clean place with many helpful people who will help with technology (app on phone to join class). They are patient with Seniors!!
The instructors are very professional and help with stretches, exercises, etc. that have been carefully planned to help Seniors with their most pressing needs and are helpful with what not to do if it hurts. They are kind about answering questions.
Pickleball. Please add more indoor pickleball courts
I like that you maintained n the equipment in working order.
The YMCA is a very inclusive fitness facility

Variety of group exercise classes
Great place to workout
Zumba is my favorite. Victor and Vanessa are great instructors. I also like the day time instructors but I can't go because of work. Staff is nice and facilities are clean.
The parking structure needs to monitored so the Post baseball people don't take up the parking
I love the reformer pilates classes and the swimming pool. I enjoy the food service/restaurant. These are mostly the things I have taken advantage of, but please note that I drive all the way across town to come to this Y facility. It's much nicer than most. Thanks for carrying on during the past two years. I'm thankful to be able to do pilates and swim.
variety of senior programs, capable and friendly staff. availability of personal training if needed

every single one of the group exercise instructors is great. Professional, outgoing, positive reinforcement, asks for feedback from the class. They enjoy what they're doing and it shows!
The classes are great and the instructors are even better! Love the Y.
The variety and schedule with many time slots.i really like the ladies work out room.
I used to like the supply of towels and the fact you were open at 10am on Sundays
I truly enjoy the classes and to be honest, that is probably why I am still at the Y. Ashley V. is my favourite instructor of all. I am enjoying the tennis courts as well. The availability of the free weight area is the reason I'm going to another gym. You have increased prices (are about to) and I do not feel it's worth it, if you do not provide the towel service again. When you re-opened during COVID you were cleaning the machines consistently and now that, that has faded the drastic change is noticeable. The equipment is filthy and I mean the parts that no one really touches. The flooring needs to be redone as well. I understand funds are low due to changes in the gym culture, which is why I support the Y as much as possible. Thanks for letting lockers be rented. :) PLEASE bring back towel service.
I returned to Trotter Y after a long absence because of the pandemic.
The Forever well classes on the mat and stretch classes in the gym have
been a great way to begin gaining back strength and flexibility.
Thanks!
I don’t use exercise equipments anymore due to old age but will try using some easy and convenient ones.
The Y is a nice and clean place to workout and relax in the whirlpool and sauna.
It’s a great place to improve your health.
You know about my commitment to my continued recovery self-program from my auto accident 12/26/81. I was in a wheel chair for over a year. That's given me ALL the drive I need. I've been working out at different Houston citywide YMCA's since 1/84. What I like at the different Y's is the comradery and friends made. Now my work-outs are exclusively at Post Oak/Trotter and enjoy seeing regulars, friendly employee's, equipment, especially the pool and steam room. I get the best feeling walking out the Y after my workout and swim and steam room followed by the best part of my work-out. My SHOWER. Walking out clean and rejuvenated into the garage parking lot makes me wonder why EVERYONE does not take their heath more serious. Also what I like about the YMCA is the principle that DEATH HAS DIED, JESUS CHRIST has risen.

Great group exercise programs for older adults. Really appreciate and like the planned trips & activities planned by Elena!
