I love that pickle ball is now included in the activities but my favorite place at Trotters is the womens center! I love Anne who is there to answer questions and guide us on how to use the machines. She does it with a smile and kindness! And it just has a cozy feeling!

THE FACILITY IS KEPT VERY CLEAN
I love having the Y so close so I can enjoy the water aerobics classes and go into the gym for weights. I do wish they had more of the upright recumbent bikes. They got rid of a few last year and now there is only one.
Fitness center is great. What is the secret to getting the TV to work on the new treadmills?
Lots of choices. Great senior options. In past was involved with garden and pickleball.

Overall we LOVE Trotter YMCA. July 17 was six great years! Strong Core with Laura Williams on Tuesday/Thursday has been a God send to our health. Rosemary, Elena, Rachel, Terry, Monica and Stacey are like a breath of fresh air whenever we see them! God bless them all!
HOWEVER the recent overhaul of the treadmills was a disaster. Whomever just went about the business of going cheaper without getting advance feedback was a BAD move indeed. Access to live TV is gone forever no matter what the employees try to tell you. Disconnecting the cable has made live TV gone period. Pluto TV is NOT a viable option at all. Thee employees are saying a "connection" to the internet is coming, but so is Christmas. Plus the width of the track is skinnier which is not a plus either.............Not happy at all about it.

I’m disappointed that the new treadmills no longer connect to cable. The internet is too slow to support streaming and Pluto TV is really bad. There are apps but most of them require a login which I don’t have.

I’ve been a member for about 30 years. I only swim. Perhaps one day I will take advantage of all Trotter has to offer. I had no idea how spoiled I was to have a year round outdoor pool until I looked into Ys in the Dallas area where my S.O. lives.
Quality and variety

I had a good experience using the weight room and bicycles. I took my grandchlldren to the pool last Friday. They were looking forward to using the big slide. We were told they could not use the slide, because they needed 5 lifeguards on duty. There were only my three 10 yr. old grandchildren, my husband and myself in the pool. They were all disappointed. I would like to know if and when 5 lifeguards are on duty so that I could bring them back again.
