I moved to Houston a month ago and discovered your Y. I love this Y! I like all of the group exercise classes! It’s fun to see the diversity of people who come every day.
Suggestion: It would be great if your instructors could do a little more to try to connect the participants. I noticed that people will just stare at their phones during any down time, but if instructors tell them to say hello to the person next to them and tell them your name, or if they would keep the music a little less loud before classes begin so people could talk, those things would help build community. As a newcomer, it’s hard to even get Houstonians to make eye contact.

They are great, very good service and the facilities are very good.
I really love the pool, as an older person with arthritis, swimming is an excellent way to exercise and moving is not painful in the water!!

The size of the pool and that it is open year round; whirlpool and steam room availability; racquetball courts, spin classes. I've only come 2 times but as this survey shows, you are very responsive!

The location. Over the years I have used many exercises and enjoyed the Sports Leagues.
This is the best YMCA location I have been to in Houston. The facility is very large, staff was friendly, and they have a wide range of amenities, including racquetball courts, pickleball courts, and a large outdoor pool that is a cool enough temperature to get a good swim in.
I like the wide selection of exercise classes offered & enjoy the treadmills and other workout areas. The pool is wonderful for lap swims!
