Well, actually, after the pandemic lock-down, I know things have changed for the YMCA, but I wish you could bring back TRX, MAT pilates, and have different yoga instructors (although Ariel is GREAT).
Also, the swimming pool is a little annoying, the lifeguards are awesome, but all these breaks they have to make us do it VERY annoying. I wish we could have an open continuous pool AND sauna.
However, I am an avid YMCA member and I love it!
They are widely available to all irrespective of ability to pay

I feel safe going back to the gym with the reservation system you all have in place. I love the variety of classes offered and the lap lanes!
The group fitness classes are great! I love being able to do Body Pump and Body Attack.
Yoga, Pilates and Forever Well Dance classes. Would also enjoy Tai Chi.
I use weight machines and track.
First off everyday when I come in Alejandra greets me and my partner! Talk about a welcoming environment!! It sets the tone for my whole visit! I take Zumba with Julia on Mondays and Wednesdays and Bodyattack with Yahudi/Theresa Thursday and Saturday! Julia is so encouraging and really works on long term plans and improving every time you come in. You are better every time you leave her class. She is so fun and funny. Her songs are also so fun and changes it up all the time. Yahudi is the reason I love body attack. He made me comfortable and provided alternate moves for a difficult class. He’s so fun! Theresa is so motivating and high energy even if our class is not as big she still treats it like we are a full fun exciting class! I love the YMCA so much! I am bringing my roommates to join. My cousin recommended me to join also so the love keeps on spreading!
Group fitness and the women’s area
I like the variety of activities available, especially the variety in the weight room. I also like having the women’s center as an option when it is open. The space is welcoming.

I especially like the group exercise classes and the social outreach programs.
The many machines and space to work out. It's clean and orderly. The many opportunities to exercise and get in shape. The friendly assistants and employees.
Good variety for exercise background/ability.
Love the aerobics/strength training floor, love the clean spacious second floor locker room. Love the wide open airy feeling of the building and the spectacular view of downtown.
I like that you offer body attack on days that other locations don’t. Laura and Peter are fantastic teachers. I am also glad that it doesn’t smell like nasty food when you walk in anymore. Hopefully they will not stink up the entrance again once they reopen.
I love the ForeverWell Combo class! I’ve never enjoyed exercising before but I’m actually scheduling my days so I don’t miss it now!
I also appreciate having the water exercise classes so there’s something for me every weekend day morning.
I’ve just started personal training with Michelle and she’s excellent! She understands my limitations and is pushing me to become the best that I can be.
I love the staff, the classes and the instructors!

Sometimes the app times are not accurate when it says the time of the courts are open. I’ve came numerous times and it said the court was open but they were doing yoga on the whole floor.
