Proximity and variety of facilities and equipment
I appreciate the friendly and inclusive environment. There's something for everyone, every level of ability.
I have been using the weight room for myself, sure is good to have your "Team" members watching over members to make sure they re rack weights, and don't sit on the machines talking on their phones and being rude etc. At 24 hour fitness they do not have anyone watching over the weight room, so individuals set up their I phones to video tape their work out, play their own music, sit on machines and stare into space etc..
I use the self directed exercise pool, the small pool for my 84 year old mother. It sure gets crowed with individuals providing swim lessons with their children at times. I know school is out, but yesterday you had three individuals doing re-hab exercise, while half the pool was dedicated to one person providing "swim" lessons. It appears that paying for lessons is more of a priority than individuals providing for their own rehab.
But you have one shower bathroom in the pool area. And I have to take my mother in there for her shower after working out. I have to help change her, clothes, etc.. This shower room is not labeled as a disability bathroom. And individuals who could use the regular locker rooms use this bathroom as their private locker room. Even a life guard has used it as a private bathroom for ten minutes, instead of going into the locker room. So I have to wait with my mother in wet cloths sitting in her push stroller for these individuals to finish, while they could be in the locker rooms. A disability sign would be great on that bathroom/shower area.
Thanks, First name removed
I like that more programs and classes are being added to the schedule. I hope that people can be smart and stay home if they are sick. I would love to have TRX classes added back to schedule soon too!
I love the variety of activities/classes and am excited that more are opening up. Super kudos to spin class with Thomas!!
I like body pump and swimming pool. I like the classes of Zumba with Kelly and with Mary. The two classes were offered before COVD-19. I really hope the two classes can come back now. Thank you.
Like indoor walking track.
Good selection of machines, weights, and other equipment.
Wish 2 hour free parking was 3 hours.
large variety of programs and highly qualified instructors
Yoga classes
Classes and facilities are top notch. Instructors are knowledgeable and tough. There is a wide variety of classes to pick from, generally at convenient times.
Good mix of people young and older.
I like the space of the building. It feels comfortable and open. I like the track on the 5th floor, as well as the machines on the 4th floor and in the women's area. I have not taken group exercise at this location but plan to do so soon. And I want to try the pool.
water aerobics and dance classes for seniors
the cleanliness of the entire facility
the excellent instructors and employees
easy access
I like the Les Mills Body Attack and Body Combat classes, plus the weight room (though several machines out of order lately).
Great location
Please bring the towels back :)
I like the employees’ friendliness, cleanliness of machines and facility. The fact that there are employees designated to wipe machines. I love the women’s wellness center.
Love the natural daylight in the workout areas. Makes everything seem open and fresh.
I like the lap pool. Can you extend the times for Saturday and Sunday?
All the staff is welcoming and outgoing. I have 2 kids involved in basketball and the staff is very accommodating to our teams needs. That’s type of support goes along way, when choosing a facility to go to.
The facility is nice and clean. Friendly staff. Programming is still limited but in the past have been great and family friendly.
My family and I like youth in government and the teen focused programs.
They gave them opportunities for enrichment outside or just athletic based programs.
I have the free silver sneaker program @ 24 hour fitness, but I choose to pay... $ 43.00 a month @ the Tellepsen YMCA because it's so clean, the exercise equipment is always taken care of, the staff is very friendly, the steam room is hot, the whirlpool and pool are very clean. Temperature is good & you can rent lockers.
What a great gym! Roy
Clean, inspiring facility. Good equipment. Friendly staff and fellow patrons.
But too much space is dedicated to cardio equipment. Is the cardio section full as often as the free weight section is?
Very clean
I absolutely love the classes that the Y provides. Michelle the trainer is very knowledgeable and friendly. She makes me feel comfortable and has a welcoming attitude. I love the fact that I can come and work out on my lunch hour.
There is such a variety of programs and activities as well as times that are accessible.
Well maintained equipment and facilities. Great choices and times for classes. AWESOME instructors!!! Great pricing and helpful staff.
Let me tell you the ONLY thing I don't like. I use the stationary bikes frequently - the kind which have back support. There are five of them on the floor - two close to the elevators and three on the other side closer to the windows. I like to watch the TV monitor while exercising. The two bikes near the elevator are both wired for TV but they don't work. The other three are not even wired. If your cable company can't fix the problem, get a new provider

The cleanliness and everyone is always in a good mood. Pool is awesome. Would like water arobics
