Very helpful staff, diverse number of programs and a great place for kids.
I love all the fitness class options! I only wish I could attend more often.
You have many activities plus a women's area for workouts. It's clean and has free parking.
The workout area and equipment are great but needs more leg workout machines for calf raise and standing leg extension.
Instructors for classes are phenomenal.
Gloria is a great Yoga instructor.
The Y offers lots of times and lots of different activities so I can always find something to fit in my schedule. I have been trying all the different yoga teachers and I am very impressed with each of them and their different experiences and expertise.
All staff are very friendly.
Michelle who does Silver Sneakers is excellent and friendly and open and makes class fun.
One suggestion tho is to clean floors in yoga rooms more often if possible.
I have already recommended 2friends to this Y and they have signed up!
Something for everyone
I appreciate the range of activities that you are able to fit into a downtown city block, near our house.
One thing I would like to see, though--there are three elliptical machines without arms, but only one has a working heartrate monitor anymore. It would be nice to have working monitors on all of them again.
Thank you!
It’s great place to feel safe and secure to workout 🏋️♀️. I enjoy visiting routinely, to built intensity🏊🏽♂️. Thank you!! YA
Location, staff, equipment, parking - all terrific.

The Tellepsen YMCA offers activities for all ages, abilities, and interests. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The building is kept clean and clutter-free. It is a place anyone can go and find something to do.
Yeah
There's something for everyone.
I like and a lot! The fact that you guys have diverse schedule on the sense of classes and the timing of them. It's not like "oh no I can't take that class because it's only on the morning" or the other way around, I can see the effort you put to try to make all options available to our different schedules, that's what I value the most! Thank you!!!
They meet our needs in a central location. I enjoy water aerobics I wish the warmer pool had a little more warmth.
The Tellepsen Family Downtown YMCA is a great facility. I love the energy that always fills the place. Plenty of space and equipment. And a shout out to Ed Groguhe, who is an amazing personal trainer and has taught me so much!
Great place. Clean Friendly. The machines for workouts are only ok too black.
Weendie goes to the Zumba exercise class at 6:45pm on Monday and Wednesday and she loves it. She says it's Great!

group exercise classes
This is our favorite Y location, love the track and racquetball courts. Gym/fitness equipment is in good shape and no broken equipment. I like the convenience of parking and being able to get a complete workout in.
I love everything. The only problem I am having is carving out a space to practice soccer drills. When I was running on the track with my ball close to my feet, an employee told me that people might get hit and get hurt. Okay. So where do I go? They sent me down to the basketball court and racquetball rooms. When I was in the racquetball room, people come and tell me I can't be there, that kicking a ball on the walls will damage them. So I go out onto the basketball court and practice there, but an employee said to make sure that I don't kick the balls so that they hit the windows with the YMCA written on them. This is all understandable, but if I kick the ball the other way, it seems to be better because the double-pained glass should be able to take more force, however, please note, I don't have a strong kick, my balls don't reach that far and there's not enough power. But, some balls do reach, this is true. My concern is I would not like to be moved about so much when I'm with my soccer ball. Could you guys make some rules and space for us to share the courts? And please remember there are three types of soccer: outdoor, indoor, and Futsal. Futsal was developed at the YMCA and it is only played on a hardwood court, so please don't say go outside. If that's the case, the basketball players can go outside too. There just needs to be some guidelines for us, soccer athletes, too. Thanks.
Love the indoor track and indoor pool!!!

I love Body Pumo! Michele G is an amazing instructor!
