Swimming lessons we good. Attended from Jan to May 2019. This first deck manager was far more organized. The second was nice but she never addressed our missed classes or made up the time which was disappointing. She said After serval requests that classes would be 10 min longer to make up but then never followed through. This proved a bit concerning as I was swimming laps and my 5 yr old came up to the side of the lap pool yelling for me as I was not aware class was being early.
My daughter enjoyed her classes and I will come back. The summer schedule was just too frequent for us

I don't take part in the Y's programs or activities such as classes, camps, personal training, swim lessons, etc., but I do enjoy how clean the gym is, how large it is, and the friendly staff. No complaints. Also, the hours allow me to workout early before work, and whenever I'd like on the weekends. For the price, it's a great setup.
I like the variety of activities and schedules to attend. Also, the facilities are very clean and the staff is very nice.

There are a lot of group classes and the instructors are friendly.
I have enjoyed playing basket ball, racket ball and yoga classes at the DTY. I have been coming to the DTY (old and current location) since I was 6 years old (I'm 56 now). We had our Club Scout meetings at the old Y. I believe the programs are outstanding and the Y is a great place to meet and socialize with friends. Keep up the good work!

Classes available throughout the day
I like the class offerings. I mainly use the machines on the 4th floor, I like to go at my own pace. I love the open space of the architecture, especially the gym, track and workout areas. I like that people of all ages, stages, and races use the facility. I enjoy having a smoothie there after a workout. The dressing room are spacious and the shower area is very functional. The cleaning staff does a good job of keeping the dressing rooms and bathrooms clean.The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
Activities and fitness orograms.
I like the variety of programs large family. So I have 3 children 2 boys and 1 girl. So they did swimming lessons this summer. And 2 of them attend weekly summer camp a couple of weeks this summer. Now that school is back in I can commit to a work out schedule and bring all 3 of children to 2 hours of child care. While I try to get down to a health weight and size. Great gym for families.

In the 80’s I came after work to run on the track on the roof of the “old” Downtown YMCA and work out almost every work day. I wanted to be fit by the time I turned 40, so I would stay active as I grew older.
Now retired and an nonprofit volunteer, I have the Silver Sneakers benefits which includes two-hour parking and “Y” access, so I have time to walk the indoor track, use the cross trainer and other equipment and continue an active life style.
I hope to get back into a 32-inch waist pants early next year.

There’s plenty of variety. Something for everyone.
I wish you had a Zumba class in the evenings around 7pm any one or two nights Monday -Friday.

I like the lap pool water exercise classes, but I wish you would offer them at 5;30 pm or anytime after 5:pm, during the weekdays, like you used to. A lot of us cannot make the 0900 and 0930 time slots due to work. I would also like more water exercise classes with instructors, Nelly and Mary and less with Mona P.
More advanced yoga classes are needed. thanks.
